The Treasure Pirates are characters from the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction at the Disney Parks.
History[]
Development[]
In 1996, the Imagineers updated the arsenal scene where they moved Thurl to the Pirate and Maiden Chase scene, where some pirates would chase the Maidens as they carried food, and some Maidens would chase the Pirates, while pirates would relax on stairs drinking rum. Thurl was replaced with two pirates who are trying to carry a sack of treasure but struggled.
Then in 2006, the two pirates were replaced by Jack Sparrow as he sat on a chair in a treasure room, as he celebrates his victory of finding the treasure.

The Treasure Pirates are seen at the end of the attraction where guests go straight ahead. The boat gets on a lift hill; to the left is one final scene where two pirates carry a sack of treasure but struggled, before seeing three crew mates of the Royal Fortune, the swordsman, treasure chest holder, and a hook hand pirate as they hear the frightening echo of: "Dead men tell no tales!".
