"Treasure of the Middle Jungle" is the ninth episode of Jungle Cubs.

Synopsis

When a shrew tells the animals about the long-lost 'Treasure of the Middle Jungle', the group - minus Bagheera and Hathi - set out to find it, only to come face-to-face with the massive cobra Whitehood.

Trivia

• This episode was inspired by "The King's Ankus", a chapter from Rudyard Kipling's The Second Jungle Book.
• This episode features the song "When We Find Our Treasure".
• Whitehood somewhat resembles Jafar's king cobra form in Aladdin.
