"Tricks, Treats and Treasure!" is the first segment of the thirty-ninth episode of Jake and the Never Land Pirates. It premiered on October 5, 2012 alongside "Season of the Sea Witch", and is the first segment of the fourteenth episode in the second season.
Plot[]
It's Halloween night in Never Land, and Jake and his crew are excited to follow their "Trick-or-Treasure" map, sent by Peter Pan, which highlights the best trick-or-treating spots in Never Land: Mermaid Lagoon, Tiki Forest, and the Great Pirate Pyramid in the desert. Izzy reads an inscription on the map: "Trick-or-treasure, it's your pick. If you get too greedy, you only get the trick." Jake explains that Peter Pan sets fun booby traps to catch anyone who tries to steal all the Halloween treat-treasures and Cubby hopes he doesn't get tricked by any tricks. Izzy reassures him that they'll be okay as long as they follow the rules and take one treat-treasure each, so there will be enough for everyone.
Meanwhile on the Jolly Roger, Mr. Smee also received the "Trick-or-Treasure" map from Peter. Captain Hook wonders where he got it, and when Mr. Smee mentions what map it is and what trick or treasure is, Captain Hook decides to trick or treasure. However, he schemes to take all the treat-treasures.
Jake and his crew soon arrive at Mermaid Lagoon, where they are about to get coconuts from Stormy when Captain Hook and Mr. Smee arrive with their costumes. Jake, Izzy, and Cubby warn them of the rules, but Captain Hook isn't interested in them, and when he takes all the coconuts, seaweed falls on him and Mr. Smee, and the bowl containing the coconuts falls in the middle of the coral. So, Jake and his crew make a lasso out of seaweed to save the bowl and earn two gold doubloons. After they each get one coconut, they head to Tiki Forest.
There, Mr. Smee alerts Captain Hook to not spring another booby-trap. However, Captain Hook decides to steal the treat-treasures while Mr. Smee distracts the tiki trees. Mr. Smee tells a tiki tree that he plans to go to the Great Pirate Pyramid next when Captain Hook spots the treat-treasures. He takes them just as Jake arrives, and the wind blows them away. Cubby tells the tiki trees to get Jake down, and they do so. For getting Jake safely down, they earned two more gold doubloons. Jake and his crew then take the treat-treasure before they approach Captain Hook and Mr. Smee, who decide to take a break from the Halloween hilarity. Mr. Smee states that it would be more fun if they take only their fair share, and Captain Hook agrees; however, he plans to let Jake and his crew get them first before stealing it from them.
In the desert, Jake and Captain Hook's crew notice Captain Flynn's pyramid decorations. Jake and his crew go first, and Captain Flynn appears and gives them the treat-treasures. Captain Hook and Mr. Smee then arrive, claiming they're enjoying the holiday. However, Captain Hook steals all of the treat-treasures, and as a result, he and Mr. Smee get sent into the air by the booby-trap, leaving the bags behind. So, Izzy uses her Pixie Dust for Jake and his crew to get them back and earning three more gold doubloons. Jake thanks Captain Flynn for the trick-treasure, and Captain Flynn wishes them a happy Halloween.
Back on Pirate Island, Jake and his crew put the gold doubloons and the trick-treasures they collected into their Team Treasure Chest. Back on the Jolly Roger, Captain Hook is relieved that Halloween is over. He tells Mr. Smee to take the costume of Tick-Tock the Crocodile off, but Mr. Smee warns him, and Tick-Tock, who has the bag, chases Captain Hook around the ship.
