Appearances[]
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order[]
Trilla was captured during the events of Order 66 or shortly after when her master, Cere Junda, tried to lead the Stormtroopers pursuing them and at least one other padawan away. Cere was captured and tortured into revealing their location, whereupon Trilla too was caught, tortured and broken physically and mentally until she embraced the Dark side of the Force. Upon her conversion to evil, Trilla, now known as Third Sister, was presented to her still-captive master, who in a fit of rage and despair, unleashed her power in the Dark side of the Force to escape.
Five years later, Trilla was called in with Ninth Sister (Masana Tide) and a squad of Jedi-hunting Purge Troopers to investigate reports of a Jedi on the world of Bracca, where ships from the Clone Wars were being broken down and dismantled. Trilla interrogated the scrappers where the Jedi had been seen, clarifying that they were hunting down a Jedi; a wanted fugitive in the Empire. Trilla then threatened the scrappers, warning them that failure in turning over the Jedi would lead to them all being branded as traitors to the Empire. As her squad of Purge Troopers took aim at the scrappers, one of them, an Abednedo named Prauf spoke out against the Empire, confronting and berating the Empire for overworking the Scrapper Guild and treating them as their slaves. Trilla summarily brought out her lightsaber and stabbed Prauf through the heart, killing him. His friend, Cal Kestis, screamed in despair and reacted by trying to attack Trilla with his lightsaber, revealing himself as the Jedi in hiding.
Trilla blocked Cal's attack with her lightsaber and taunted his action as she lifted him off the ground with the Force, throwing him over to the Ninth Sister and stunning him briefly. Kestis then reactivated his lightsaber, prompting the Ninth Sister to drop him off the ledge. Trilla pursued Cal, who landed onto a train. While he fought his way across the train, Cere arrived aboard the starship known as the Stinger Mantis to help him escape. When the Jedi attempted to board the ship, the Second Sister shot at the Mantis from her TIE/IN interceptor. Cal Kestis fell onto a damaged platform, and the Second Sister then landed to confront and kill him. As Trilla jumped down to Kestis' location and activated her saber, this forced him to activate his lightsaber again and ready himself for a fight. From his stance, she identified that he had possibly underwent training, going on to taunt Kestis on whether she might have met and killed his master prior to meeting him. The two then briefly dueled with Trilla maintaining the upper hand until the Mantis returned, shooting at them and separating the two right as they locked blades. Cal escaped aboard the ship as Cere shot at Trilla, who blocked her master's attacks. Despite her best efforts to catch them, Cere and Cal escaped into space, leaving Trilla on Bracca.
Trilla would continue to pursue Cal and Cere, researching the young Jedi and discovering he was searching for the Holocron of Jedi Master and Cere's teacher, Eno Cordova, which contained a list and locations of all known Force-sensitive children in the Galaxy. She would eventually track him to the planet Zeffo, where she revealed her knowledge of him before engaging him in a duel, where she mocked his "poor" skills and boasted of her own. Their duel was interrupted by BD-1, who separated them via ray shields. Unable to attack Kestis, Trilla changed tactics, instead revealing her identity to Cal and claiming that Cere was not was she seemed. Though Cal ignored her taunts, she claimed that Cere would sell him out just like she did to her. After he left, Trilla hacked into his comm system, taunting him continuously and attacking him with Purge Troopers as he trekked deep into the tombs of the Zeffo people, trying to find the artifact known as an Astrium that would allow him to access Cordova's holocron.
