While making nachos, Dr. Lullah and Mr. Okay are disturbed by the children who are using her large magnet to try and find a missing thumbtack that Chip lost. In doing so, they unearth a truck, specifically Dr. Lullah's "All Durand Kumquat 2-50". She and Mr. Okay used to drive around on the island as "Dr. Gas Pedal and Mud Puppy" to their heart's content. As they attempt to go about it again, Mr. Okay starts to become queasy from the bumpy vehicle ride and is ejected. He asks if they can go make the nachos, but Dr. Lullah refuses. Instead, dubbing Sara her new mud puppy and bringing the kids along with her, with the exception of Francis who stays with Mr. Okay.

Mr. Okay and Francis decide to hang out with the former showing the latter many of his other hobbies around the island. Every time, he attempts to get her involved, they are disturbed by Dr. Lullah and the rest of the kids who constantly give them a heads up on what they are doing. It quickly becomes apparent that Mr. Okay is starting to miss his time with Dr. Lullah and fears that Sara will no doubt replace him as her "mud puppy". Finally calmed down for the afternoon, Mr. Okay and Francis make the nachos. Mr. Okay falls asleep and has a nightmare about Dr. Lullah and Sara going on without him. Upon awakening, he is saddened that Dr. Lullah didn't come on time.

Mr. Okay spots Dr. Lullah driving towards the "Croney Maker", a large mountain with a deep crevasse, and gives chase in his own truck in an effort to stop her. While she makes the jump, Mr. Okay stalls, only to accidentally fall down into the crevasse. A flashback reveals that Dr. Lullah took Mr. Okay in after he stowed away onto Sunil's cargo ship. Mr. Okay recovers and admits to Dr. Lullah that he was afraid of getting replaced, but she tells him that she can never replace him and offers to take a calmer ride in the truck for his sake. As the two drive off, they immediately crash after hitting Chip's missing thumbtack.
