"True Cawing" is the second segment of the eighty-ninth episode of Big City Greens.
Synopsis[]
Feeling neglected by his family, Bill befriends a murder of crows.
Plot[]
Bill has coerced his family into checking out all the statues in Big City Park. Cricket, Tilly, and Gramma Alice openly voice their dislike towards the activity as they find it boring and uneventful. Bill, upset at his family for not liking the same thing he does, decides to continue on his own. He immediately misses his family, but encounters a crow, followed a murder of them who seemingly take him under their literal wing. Back at home, Tilly and Alice get into their hobbies to pass the time and Cricket comes to the realization that he doesn't have any hobbies of his own. Tilly and Alice decide to help him look for one.
Tilly and Alice have Cricket try a variety of things to be his new hobby, but he is shown to be very bad at them, much to his consternation. Bill in the meantime, has embraced his "cramily" as he feels that they get him. As he happily sings in the park, he takes them back to his home where the rest of the family is annoyed with them. Offended, Bill angrily leaves and begins snapping at others on the street. He finally decides to commit to the crows by dressing up and living among them. When the crows insist that he begin eating from the trash, Bill suddenly comes the realization that he doesn't have to do everything the crows do, just as his family doesn't have to do what he wants to do.
Bill tells the crows he is leaving, but they angrily chase him back home. As they lift him away, Tilly orders Cricket to attack the crows, which he does using the things he was trying to make a hobby out of. This causes Tilly and Alice to conclude that Cricket's hobby is simply causing trouble and making a mess. Cricket manages to rescue Bill with the crows concluding, via subtitles, that his family love him enough and decide to leave Bill alone. Bill apologizes for trying to force his family into doing something they didn't want to do while the family agrees to go statue watching at most once a year.

Trivia[]
- This is the last episode to premiere before the release of Big City Greens the Movie: Spacecation.
- Moral: You shouldn't try to force what you want on other people / Everyone has their own personal hobby, and you eventually discover your own / Listen to your family's thoughts and perspectives, and try to be even with them.
- Bill dresses up as Eric Draven from the movie The Crow.
- It's strange that Cricket doesn't have a hobby, as he usually occupies himself with a variety of things. Though this episode is most likely about him coming to this conclusion.
- Tilly comes to the conclusion that she also doesn't like crows. This marks the second animal, after horses, that Tilly doesn't like.
