"Tunde" is the fourth episode of the Disney+ series Iwájú.
Synopsis[]
Tola's father, Tunde, the wealthy CEO at a company creates tech to protect children from kidnapping, desperately tries to rescue his daughter from the scheming Bode as he raises the stakes. Tola tries to take in her surroundings and makes key observations while Kole, being pursued by Bode's henchman, is saved by Tola's pet lizard robot, Otin.
Plot[]
In flashback, a younger Tunde goes to apply for a giant tech company, using his own created leap enhancers to get there. Despite being late, the boss, Mrs. Usman, decides to hire him, though she finds his charitable intentions very naive.
Tunde discovers that Tola is missing and soon gets a message from Bode asking for 50 million for his daughter back. He briefly attempts to reconnect with one of his friends, Ejiro, who is a police officer, but he is turned down by him due to the two of them not having communicated with one another in 30 years. Kole manages to find Godspower and convinces him to help him find Tola. In the meantime, Kole orders Godspower to take his mother to safety, only to get spotted by Sunday who chases him.
An unconscious Otin is found by a girl who holds her in the sun. When she is forced to drop her, Otin begins to recharge. Tola is kept at Bode's hideout, but taking Kole's advice, decides to act as polite as possible for her capturers. Upon meeting Bode, she respectively calls him uncle and decides to remain quiet for their benefit, though she is confused when she asks where Kole is, only for Bode to inform her that she needs to be careful whom she calls "friend".
Tunde finally arrives at the meeting point to give the money to Bode, only to get a message from Mrs. Usman who demands that he have the lizard delivered to her the next morning. Bode responds, angered that he went to see someone else first, and demands that he now pay 250 million using his bonds. Tunde is angered, but suddenly gets a message to Otin's whereabouts.
Sunday chases Kole into a junkyard where he is caught by him. As he is about to attack the boy, Otin arrives and unleashes her powers against Sunday, knocking him out. Otin approaches Kole and, possessing a voice, asks where Tola is.
