Trivia[]
- The title of this short is similar to that of the Mickey Mouse cartoon "Two-Gun Mickey", another western-themed cartoon in which Pete also played the villain.
- This marks the first appearance of Pete in any Disney film since Trombone Trouble was released in 1944.
- This is one of the only Disney shorts to use a different design for Pete, where he is depicted as a bear instead of a cat likely due to his ears being small, the other being How to Be a Detective.
