Two Weeks Vacation is a 1952 animated short film starring Goofy.
Synopsis[]
Goofy (George Geef) takes a well-deserved vacation from work, involving his car popping a tire, having to share the road with a trailer, trying to sleep in a run-down motel, and eventually, going to prison!
Characters[]
- George Geef (voiced by Pinto Colvig)
- Service Station Owner (voiced by Alan Reed)
- Fancy Hobo (voiced by Alan Reed)
Trivia[]
- Unusually for this short, the title card appears after the end of 1950s Goofy theme, with the title screen overlaying the very first establishing shot of the office, unlike the rest of the shorts of the period where the title card appears separately near the end of the opening theme tune, therefore resulting the screen credits to appear slightly longer than usual.
- As of this short, Goofy has a criminal record.
Goofs[]
- When George says, "I'm gettin' outta this here place" when leaving the motel, his mouth doesn't move.
- In this cartoon, the reissue title card says "Copyright MCMXLIX" (1949), although original title card says "Copyright MCMLII" (1952).
