"Uncle Bigfoot" is the second segment of the twentieth episode of Vampirina. It premiered on July 20, 2018 alongside "Hiccupire".
Synopsis[]
Boris' old college roommate, Bigfoot, comes to stay at the Scare B&B.
Plot[]
Poppy arrives at the Scare B&B. She mentions how decorated it is when Gregoria mentions that there is a new guest coming today. As Gregoria chases a mop placed under a spell by Poppy, Vampirina helps Poppy decorate the house more. She mentions that the moss is for Uncle Bob, who is staying at the Scare B&B today. So, the house has lots of moss, fish, and lots of fun to give the house a swampy makeover. Just then, Uncle Bob arrives and is greeted by the Hauntleys. Gregoria says that he is Bigfoot. Vampirina calls him Uncle Bob because he's known her since she was born, and is Vampirina favorite monster in the world, except for Demi.
Uncle Bob states that it's his and Vampirina's special day tomorrow, and he wouldn't miss it. Vampirina introduces him to Poppy. Bob states that since it's his birthday tomorrow, he had to visit. Vampirina says that the tradition is that every year on Bob's birthday, they have ice scream cake and play Monstro mini cake. Bob is also happy to get away from all the kerfuffle back home, and even he needs a break from his great adventures and being Bigfoot. He then chases Vampirina outside the house, and Poppy tells her about him wanting to get away from people trying to take his picture. Poppy states that the world's biggest Bigfoot fan, which is Edgar, lives next door. Just then, Edgar arrives but is quickly halted by Vampirina and Poppy, who tell him that they're playing with dolls and doing ballet. Vampirina states that the roaring was only Poppy. Edgar then leaves.
Vampirina tells Uncle Bob that the talking was only from Demi, who gives everyone three spider toasts. Vampirina, Poppy, and Uncle Bob then eat inside the kitchen. Poppy states that Uncle Bob needs to be kept inside because Edgar is next door and is the biggest Bigfoot fan ever. Vampirina mentions that if Uncle Bob sees a human trying to take his picture, he will leave immediately. Vampirina wants Uncle Bob to stay for the latter's birthday celebration, which is their special thing. It is easier said than done since he's the outdoorsy type. To keep him inside, Vampirina decides for everyone to do all of their birthday celebration stuff inside. First up is Monstro mini-golf. The Hauntleys quickly set up the golf course while Gregoria gets the roly-polys, which are the golf balls. Uncle Bob is impressed by it. The sport is hard because the ball has a mind of its own.
Edgar then heads to the Scare B&B and sees footprints outside. Meanwhile, Boris gets a whole in one. Uncle Bob is about to have his turn when the fish finishes cooking. As Poppy and Boris set the table, Vampirina tells Gregoria and Demi to make sure Uncle Bob doesn't go outside so that Edgar doesn't see him. Just then, a roly-poly heads outside and Uncle Bob chases it. Vampirina finishes setting the table when he sees Uncle Bob missing. Edgar then sees that the footprints belong to Bigfoot. He thinks he sees him, but Uncle Bob camouflages long enough and Edgar decides to go back for his camera, which he left in his room. Poppy and Vampirina notice this, but Uncle Bob has to find his ball before he heads inside. Vampirina mentions that she hasn't seen Uncle Bob since the Hauntleys moved to Pennsylvania, and if he doesn't feel safe here, he will never come back. To keep Edgar from taking a picture of him, Vampirina decides for her and Poppy to make the instant fog Oxana got to swampify the house. To make it, Vampirina just adds water. Just as Edgar arrives, he sees the fog.
Meanwhile, Uncle Bob finds the ball and Vampirina and Poppy take him back inside while Edgar sees his foggy pictures. Edgar thinks he sees Bigfoot coming, but it is actually Boris, who says that there were no monsters at all. He also mentions that the footprints were caused by his own boots. As for the deep boots, that is how Boris breaks in new shoes. Edgar vows to never give up and search the internet for more Bigfoot clues so he can find him one day. The next day, the Hauntleys wish Uncle Bob a happy birthday, and he is given ice scream cake, which is Vampirina and Uncle Bob's tradition. Uncle Bob states that after such a fun day, he can see why the Hauntleys like it so much, and he can't wait to visit them again. Uncle Bob then eats his slice of cake before chasing Vampirina around.
