Mila Masaryk makes her debut in the Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man episode "Hitting the Big Time". She along with her comrades, Dmitri Smerdyakov, Mikhail Sytsevitch, and Roxanna Volkov, rob an establishment to pay off a benefactor of theirs. During the heist, Masaryk takes the money and abandons the group, promising to come back for them. She meets with her benefactor, Otto Octavius who gifts her a helmet that fires lasers and soon adopts the name Unicorn.
In "The Unicorn Unleashed!", Masaryk breaks her crew out of prison, but slowly becomes obsessed with causing destruction with her new enhancement. While Smerdyakov and Volkov decide to flee, Sytsevitch refuses to abandon Masaryk. Soon, Spider-Man arrives and Masaryk battles the wall-crawler, but her obsession with power causes her to intentionally put Sytsevitch in harm's way so that Spider-Man can take the force of her power. Sytsevitch removes Masaryk's helmet, allowing Spider-Man to web her up.
