"Unplugged Club" is the fifth episode of House of Mouse, it originally aired on ABC on February 17, 2001.
Synopsis[]
Pete attempts to stop the show again by removing the electrical battery and turning off all the club's electricity. So Mickey and Minnie turn the power back on again with Supreme Divine Overlord Zeus' lightning bolt, but then Pete tricks Zeus into leaving with the thunderbolt. But Minnie realizes they must "charge" to the battery, restoring it and the club's electricity, while Pete is shocked by Zeus as a punishment for tricking him.
Plot[]
The episode begins in the House of Mouse, with Mickey greeting everybody inside. Donald is seen greeting all the character entering, but stops Pete from coming in. Pete points out that he owns the place, but Daisy says he needs to have a reservation to come inside. Pete enters anyway after launching Donald using Robin Hood's bow. Meanwhile, Mickey and Minnie look at the bills they have accumulated, which worries Mickey. Minnie tells him to relax as they put on a cartoon where Donald bests Pete.
Pete sneaks backstage and removes the battery from its spot, causing all the electricity in the House of Mouse to shut down. Everyone begins leaving, but Minnie comes up with an idea to extract power from Zeus' lightning bolt. The power is restored to the House of Mouse, and Mickey puts on another cartoon.
Pete secretly beats up Goofy and puts on his waiter outfit, allowing him to sneak up to Zeus and tell him that someone stole his chariot. Zeus immediately leaves, but Pete reminds him to take his lightning bolt with him, and Zeus does, disconnecting it from the club's power grid. The power is once again gone, and everyone is starting to lose hope. Daisy tells Minnie that they just received another pile of bills, and Minnie responds that they will charge them, giving her an idea. The gang forms a mob to surprise the battery, causing it to immediately recharge and Minnie snaps it back into place. As the power is restored again, Zeus shocks Pete for lying to him, and catching him eating Zeus' food. The episode ends with Mickey closing the show and waving goodbye to the audience.
