An untitled Up-themed wave swinger attraction is set to open in the Adventure Way area in Walt Disney Studios Park (soon to be renamed to "Disney Adventure World". It is the first ride themed after Up to arrive at a Disney Park.
On April 12, 2025, it was announced that an Up-themed ride would be coming to Walt Disney Studios Park, following more details of a Lion King-themed attraction being revealed for the park being reimagined as "Disney Adventure World". In addition to the concept art, it was also confirmed that the attraction would be located by the Raiponce Tangled Spin attraction, followed by a construction of the attraction announced at the end of 2025.[1]
Attraction summary[]
Using elements from Up, the main column of the ride depicts elements from the film, such as balloons, inspired by the one that Carl collected during his adventures as well as illustrations of Russell and Dug interacting with balloons. Guests would imagine themselves as if they were in Carl's House carried by a bunch of balloons to make it float, giving them a bird's-eye view of the park, which is one of the film's memorable moments.
