This is an idea for a hypothetical rewrite of Cinderella 3: A Twist In Time that could have been a replacement for the critically panned Cinderella 2: Dreams Come True. The movie would simply be titled Cinderella: A Twist In Time, without any mention of it being a sequel. The movie would have the distinction of being one of the few theatrically released sequels and would come out on June 18, 2010 in the UK and June 25, 2010 in the US. The movie would be rated PG by both the MPAA in the US and the BBFC in the UK (for mild violence and threat).

Plot[]

It has been a year since Cinderella married Prince Charming (now referred to as Prince Kit. Both of them head to the forest to attend their wedding anniversary that the mice and Fairy Godmother have prepared for them. Meanwhile, Anastasia and Drizella, who are currently taking over Cinderella's jobs at the household, are not having a good time. Anastasia manages to follow Cinderella and the prince to where the anniversary is being held. Figuring out that it was magic that gave Cinderella her "happily ever after", she swipes the Fairy Godmother's wand when she drops it. Anastasia returns home quickly and shows it to Lady Tremaine and her sister, both thinking it's just a stick and she has lost her mind.

The Fairy Godmother shows up and attempts to get the wand back from Anastasia, who accidentally turns her into a statue. Impressed, Lady Tremaine takes the wand and reverses time to undo Cinderella's happily ever after by going back to the events at the end of the first movie, in a bid to once again make Cinderella's life a misery. She makes what was originally a tiny shoe fit Anastasia's big foot with Cinderella being locked in her tower, only to be freed to see Anastasia and Drizella leaving. While speaking with Cinderella as she's about to give her the replacement glass slipper she pulls out, Lady Tremaine snatches it with her staff and shatters it. Furious, Lady Tremaine confronts Cinderella and does not allow her to approach the Prince or the palace, but allows her to clean up this mess. When Lady Tremaine leaves, this leads Jaq and Gus to appear and for Cinderella to sing "More Than a Dream". Gus and Jaq try cheering her up, Jaq saying that "Princey knows he danced with Cinderelley last night!" and gives Cinderella the idea to go after kit and convince him that they danced together.

Skipping back to the step family, they've arrived at the castle, where Kit is speaking while sword fighting with his father. They go into discussion about how the king was immediately smitten by his Queen, Kit's mother, who had passed on years before. With Anastasia arriving, Kit is, at first, glad as he thinks it's the girl he danced with (Cinderella), but slightly disappointed when seeing Anastasia. He tells her that she and her family will get an escort home, but Lady Tremaine uses the wand to make him forget who he really danced with and marry Anastasia that night. Kit falls under the spell and, believing he danced with Anastasia, gives her the ring to marry them. Anastasia goes hyper and agrees to the marriage.

Meanwhile, Gus and Jaq had witnessed this event from a lamp high above the scene since they got inside with Cinderella, who was claiming to be the royal mouse catcher to stay inside. Gus and Jaq play along and, when viewing this scene, they rush off to tell Cinderella. Later on, Cinderella is seen confronting Kit and both are confused, the prince thinking he danced with Anastasia yet Cinderella knows the truth. She is cut short from saying what really happened and forced to go find the mice (Jaq and Gus) that have come into the castle. Cinderella is placed in the cellar where Gus and Jaq tell her what Lady Tremaine had done to Kit, Cinderella now set on getting the wand back.

Anastasia and Kit have a moment where they dance and Anastasia is repeatedly stepping on his foot by accident. When the waltz is over, the King summons her into another room, while the Duke takes the Prince out and tells her about his wife. He gave her the Queen's most treasured possession, which is a seashell. Both the King and Queen were walking one day on a beach, unknowing of one another, and reached for said seashell at the same time. Their hands met and they fell in love. He allows Anastasia to keep the shell, who is smitten with it instantly. Kit tells the Duke that he felt nothing when his hand connected with Anastasia's, and is once again confused. He begins to sing the song "How Can This Be", to express his bewilderment. Jaq and Gus get into the room where the step family is staying and Lucifer's tail manages to get caught on fire, prompting the famous line "Someone put out the cat!" coming into play. Anastasia throws a pillow against him and whams him right into the wall, the stepmother demanding that someone would call for the housekeeper. Cinderella comes across Anastasia and promises her that while she won't allow her mother to get away with her nefarious plot, she will find some way to free Anastasia (and by extension, Drizella) from her grip. Anastasia thanks Cinderella for the offer and urges her to keep a low profile. Cinderella takes Anastasia's advice and continues searching for the wand. Cinderella eventually gets into the room in disguise with a castle maid bonnet covering her face and hair.

Lady Tremaine pulls the bonnet off to reveal Cinderella. Jaq and Gus get the wand, and the three make a run for it down the halls while being chased by guards. With Jaq and Gus using the magic from the wand, they transform Lucifer into a jack in the box first, then a mini-sized Lucifer, then back to normal when he's in the mouse hole. Cinderella makes it to a staircase where Kit appears, Cinderella trying to break the spell on him so he would remember who he really danced with. She is narrowly cut off when the guards get to her and Lady Tremaine takes back the wand. Cinderella manages to grace her hand over Kit's, which has him shocked and now baffled. Lady Tremaine orders for Cinderella to be on the next ship on exile from the kingdom. Drizella almost divulges their plan and Tremaine warns her to keep quiet, unless she wishes to join Cinderella.

Late afternoon, Kit is seen talking to his father, but motions into a small fitting room perhaps. He speaks with Jaq and Gus, who perform the song "At the Ball" explaining that he danced with Cinderella and that he was under a spell. This causes him to hurry out the room and to the stairs where he confronts his father, who forbids him from stepping down the stairs. Kit agrees, only to jump out the window and climb down the vines, then gets on his horse and demands one of the guards to tell him where Cinderella is. He rushes off to her rescue so she isn't sent away for good, the King allowing this to happen when he sees it. Kit and his trusty steed race after the boat, where they end up running through a lighthouse and the horse gets scared of heights. Kit is seen flying onto the boat and using a small blade against the sail to soften his fall. He sees Cinderella and places his hand against hers and knows it was her who he danced with.

They return to the castle, and the King orders for Lady Tremaine, Anastasia, and Drizella to be brought into custody. Lady Tremaine's emotional abuse towards Anastasia starts to become much more pronounced at this stage. Upon seeing the Prince returning with Cinderella after rescuing her from exile. Anastasia begins to break down that the Prince doesn't truly love her, but Lady Tremaine tries to pressure Anastasia to marry him. Anastasia at this point is unsure if she truly loves him, which enrages Lady Tremaine. She grabs Anastasia by the shoulders and begins running her mouth off at Anastasia, forcing her to go along with her plot regardless of whether or not she and the Prince love each other for who they truly are, and then physically shakes Anastasia while harshly telling her to stop crying. Lady Tremaine then rubs Anastasia's eyes painfully, which causes her to develop an involuntary eye twitch. She then tells Anastasia to grow up and do exactly as she says, as she teleports away with her two daughters before the guards can arrest them.

Having been informed that Lady Tremaine and her daughters have fled, the King orders the guards to double their search and to have the Tremaines brought into custody as soon as they're found. Cinderella manages to convince the King to spare Anastasia from any severe punishment, as she is aware of Lady Tremaine's abuse of her two biological daughters and hasn't been able to do anything to protect either of them. Lady Tremaine later returns with Anastasia and explains to Cinderella that she plans to have Anastasia married while Cinderella herself is sent to her death. During this confrontation she reveals that she has, indeed, turned back the hands of time. After a heated exchange between Cinderella and Lady Tremaine over the latter trying to force Anastasia into marrying the Prince, Tremaine reveals that she had an inkling the mysterious girl she saw at the ball might have been Cinderella, and that while Cinderella carelessly singing 'So This Is Love' was the confirmation Tremaine needed to lock her in her room, Lady Tremaine would have most likely found out through other means even if Cinderella HAD been more careful. After Cinderella tries to ask Anastasia whether or not she truly loves the Prince, Lady Tremaine accuses Cinderella of trying to brainwash Anastasia and whisks her away into a warped pumpkin carriage, along with her two mouse friends Jaq and Gus. With the help of Jaq and Gus, the three conquer over the pumpkin carriage and Lucifer, and ride back on the horse that was used.

Cinderella makes it back to the wedding, just in time to witness, to her amazement, Anastasia (still using Cinderella's appearance) looking her dead in the eyes and saying "I...DON'T", and declaring she only wants to be loved for herself, having realized she does not truly love Kit. Infuriated by both Cinderella's interference and Anastasia's newfound conscience, Lady Tremaine steps out from her hiding place and decides to seize the Kingdom by force. And this is where her absolute worst wrath is unleashed. She creates a whirling vortex of evil magic and begins transforming the guards into farm animals before turning on Anastasia. Infuriated by her stepmother's ruthlessness, Cinderella steps in to defend Anastasia. However, instead of striking them down at once, Lady Tremaine chooses instead to strategically wait for the Prince to step in, along with the King and the Grand Duke. Despite Cinderella urging the King to keep out of her stepmother's way for his own safety, they stand in front of Lady Tremaine's captives regardless. Lady Tremaine then flies into an uncontrollable fury, taking her lust and hatred out on Cinderella and Anastasia, and revealing that she's been pulling all the strings to get them to this stage by murdering Anastasia's father and both of Cinderella's parents. Cinderella also notices that Anastasia has developed an eye twitch, whereupon Lady Tremaine reveals that she had harshly told Anastasia to stop crying over the fact that the Prince didn't love her, and then rubbed the tears off her eyes too hard when she wouldn't stop crying. She goes onto reveal that her parents had brought her up to adopt her current mindset of cruelty, affluence and vanity. Having now decided she doesn't need ANYONE to help her, Lady Tremaine turns Drizella into a toad, and Cinderella and Anastasia can only watch in horror.

Lady Tremaine then seals the Chapel entrance and teleports Lucifer out of the woods, along with Cinderella's other mouse and bird friends, her dog Bruno and her horse Major to finish off all of them. Anastasia confesses that she had only taken the wand in the first timeline out of desperation for love. Lady Tremaine then reveals that she had always known magic had helped Cinderella break free of her in the first timeline since she discovered her identity as the mysterious princess, and that even if Anastasia HADN'T wandered off, Lady Tremaine would have eventually caught on in her own time. Cinderella and Anastasia then realize that had Lady Tremaine found Fairy Godmother's wand even earlier, she wouldn't have needed to go through the stream of marriages, murders and births she's orchestrated, and nor she wouldn't have even needed to turn back the hands of time. Lady Tremaine turns Lucifer into a statue as she declares she doesn't need anyone to help her anymore, and that there was nothing anyone could have done to stop her in her tracks. Cinderella, having finally understood what a genuinely evil and psychopathic person Lady Tremaine is, and has been from the very beginning, resolves to defend her stepsister, her true love and the Kingdom's leadership. She bravely takes Kit's sword and dares Lady Tremaine to strike them down. Lady Tremaine, her skin glowing white, her hair and lips glowing red, and her eyes glowing orange with decades worth of hatred and lust fires a bolt of magic at them, finally realising her wrath on the entire Kingdom. Cinderella manages to deflect the bolt of magic as Lady Tremaine and Drizella are sucked away along with Lucifer. The vortex of evil magic begins to whirl around much more violently with a few mighty claps of thunder and blinding flashes of light; an amalgamation of Lady Tremaine's devilish traits, before it finally fades away. Tremaine's captives then breathe a massive sigh of relief before Cinderella turns round to check on the others, but Anastasia begins to descend into an emotional breakdown.

Anastasia reunites Cinderella with the Prince and then sadly walks away. She's about to use the wand to turn back to her true self, but not before asking for Cinderella's permission. Cinderella happily agrees to let Anastasia use the wand and she uses to transform back to her true appearance. Instead of letting Cinderella thank Anastasia for allowing her to regain her happy ending, Anastasia throws the wand over to her and walks over to the King to give the seashell back to him. However, instead of happily taking it back when the King asserts that everyone deserves a chance at love, Anastasia instead puts her foot down and forces him to take it back as she truly believes she should force herself to pay the price for everything she's done to Cinderella. Anastasia then prepares to leave the Kingdom for good. Cinderella tries to talk her out of doing so by telling Anastasia that she forgives her, but Anastasia remains convinced she doesn't deserve it. After a tearful apology to Cinderella, Anastasia's flies into an intense emotional breakdown as her eye twitch wears off and, in a horrific retelling of the dress ripping scene from the first movie, she begins angrily ripping up her own clothing to an even worse extent than she had done to Cinderella, while putting herself down for her mistreatment, and asserting truly believes she deserves to be punished. Anastasia not only rips up her own dress, but also breaks off the heels of her shoes and even goes as far as yanking the golden clip out of her hair and turning it into a disorganized mess, as she gives Cinderella her explicit blessing to banish her from the Kingdom. Cinderella, wanting Anastasia to be happy, tries one last time to reason with her, but to no avail.

Anastasia then races outside and mounts Cinderella's horse before riding off into the night with angry determination to break off all ties with Cinderella and the Royal Family. Cinderella, reeling in horror from Anastasia's outburst, begins to break down. She laments how much Anastasia has suffered under Lady Tremaine, and her desperation to patch things up with her, and in a rare moment of raw anger, admits that there was virtually no way that she or either of her stepsisters could've stood up for each other, due to the leash Lady Tremaine had on all of them, and admits that her stepmother would've been able to work around any rebellion easily, as seizing the Kingdom was her sole intention from the very outset. Cinderella then breaks down in tears as Kit and her mouse friends help her regain her confidence to go after Anastasia and repair their relationship. Having regained her confidence, Cinderella and Kit restore Fairy Godmother from the stone state Anastasia accidentally turned her into before Lady Tremaine turned back time, and she restores Cinderella's dress. Cinderella and the Prince then fill her in on the situation. During this exchange, Fairy Godmother admits she was indeed aware of Lady Tremaine having killed not only Cinderella's parents, but also Anastasia and Drizella's father, but admits that there was virtually no way she could have stopped her. and Cinderella forgives her out of understanding, as she believes Lady Tremaine, being such a ruthless opportunist, would simply take any opportunity she could to set her plot back into motion. Fairy Godmother offers to restore the original timeline, but Cinderella declines the offer, as she and Kit believe they will have a better life ahead in this new timeline. Cinderella then ties the knot with the Prince, and becomes Princess.

Afterwards, Cinderella, the Prince, the King and the Grand duke get into a private carriage to track down Anastasia. Anastasia, having arrived at the harbour, sits down on the edge of the pontoon and begins having flashbacks to her prior actions; particularly her ripping up her own wedding dress while claiming she is unworthy of Cinderella's forgiveness, and later forcing the King, against his will, to take his seashell back. She eventually reaches the conclusion that she should try to forgive herself and patch everything up with Cinderella, just as Cinderella and the other royals arrive at the harbour. Anastasia breaks down in tears, feeling remorse for trying to ditch Cinderella earlier. A visibly concerned Cinderella runs over to hug Anastasia and consoles her. She then gently wipes Anastasia's tears away with a handkerchief. Cinderella and Anastasia then begin to talk everything over. Anastasia apologises for trying to flee the Kingdom and admits she only went along with Lady Tremaine's plan because she felt she had no other choice. Cinderella reassures Anastasia that she understands completely, and take the opportunity to thank her for refusing to go through with the wedding, as she believe it's *never* too late to make amends. Cinderella also admits that she was devestated by Anastasia tearing up her own dress and trying to flee the Kingdom, as she and Kit didn't want to lose her. Anastasia also readily admits that her outburst was not because she really believed it would make Cinderella happy to see her suffer as a punishment for her abuse, but because she was just scared, and that she was expressing her remorse badly.

Cinderella then confesses to Anastasia that while her decision to take the wand wasn't such a good idea, Lady Tremaine would have eventually caught on in her own time had Anastasia not fled the château, and that she believes Anastasia taking the wand was therefore something of a blessing in disguise. Cinderella also expresses her relief that Anastasia ultimately changed her mind about leaving the Kingdom, and that Anastasia now knows she *does* deserve her forgiveness. She even offers to let Anastasia move into the castle and appoint her as one of her Ladies-In-Waiting, which Anastasia happily accepts. Anastasia thanks Cinderella profusely and the two embrace, having finally accepted themselves as True Sisters.

Cinderella then takes the seashell from the King and gently gives it back to Anastasia on his behalf, as she too believes that everyone deserves true love. Anastasia, this time, happily accepts the gift and joins Cinderella and Kit in a group hug, now acknowledging themselves as a family. They then head back to the wedding, but not before Fairy Godmother reappears to let them know that she's restored Lady Tremaine and Drizella to to their human forms. Cinderella and the King decide that while Lady Tremaine should be made into a slave as punishment for her cruelty towards her three daughters, and her attempt to seize the Kingdom by force, Lucifer should be left on his own and Drizella should be set free. When they arrive back at the wedding, Kit introduces Anastasia to the baker from Cinderella II (now name David), and they fall in love with each other. The wedding cake is then presented, Cinderella cuts the first four slices for her, Kit, Anastasia and David. The four then share the first dance, as Cinderella and Anastasia begin their new life in the castle.

After Cinderella and Kit's wedding, Lady Tremaine, having been made into a servant, becomes increasingly aggressive towards everyone, even Drizella, as she refuses to accept defeat. After several weeks of relentless verbal abuse and insubordination, Cinderella and the King decide she should be exiled from the Kingdom to protect Anastasia and Drizella. Lady Tremaine leaves the Kingdom in disgrace to await further punishment, while Lucifer is left on his own. Drizella, however, is set free and left to pursue her own destiny. Anastasia and David start dating seriously, and their romance blossoms even after Cinderella and the Prince return from their honeymoon. She then helps Cinderella adapt to her position as a Princess by abolishing some of the old traditions such as keeping commoners out of the Palace and keeping the curtains closed during the day. The King, while initially sceptical, eventually approves of these changes. David is later offered a position in the Palace kitchen which he gladly accepts, and she eventually proposes to Anastasia. Finally, around a year after Lady Tremaine's change of events, Anastasia and David finally become married, and it just so happens to coincide with Cinderella and Kit's first wedding anniversary. And from that moment onwards, they all live happily ever after.

"Perfectly Perfect"[]

Cinderella: Do you remember the story of a girl who lived a life of Cinders, and how she found true love because she kept a beautiful dream in her heart? *Giggles* Of course it helped that she had mouse friends who could sew and a Fairy Godmother who could do wonders with pumpkins. Well, that girl was ME, and in case you're wondering, that was only the FIRST half of the story!

Cinderella:What a perfectly perfect life♪

It's a fairytale come true♪

I'm a princess and a wife♪

All because I fit a shoe♪

When I dreamed of love, who would've guessed I'd end up here?♪

At the end of a perfectly perfect year!♪

Kit: Would my perfectly perfect wife put on her perfectly fitting shoes?

*Kit starts playing 'keep away' with the shoes*

Kit: Better hurry; Fairy Godmother's waiting!

Cinderella: *laughs* What have the mice been using them for this time?

Kit: *pours some water out* Boats.

*Cinderella laughs*

Kit (putting Cinderella's shoes back on): There.

*Cinderella and Kit head outside to mount their horses

Cinderella:What a wonderfully perfectly perfect year!♪

Anastasia:Why do we have to do the chores?♪

Drizella:I would rather rot in jail♪

Anastasia:Washing dishes and scrubbing floors♪

Drizella:Oh, that's just great, I broke a nail!♪

Anastasia and Drizella:Cinderella's in the palace, living the life of luxury♪

And not once have we been invited to a ball♪

Drizella:Or even tea♪

Anastasia:Why don't I get no happy ending? Where's the prince who marries me?♪

Anastasia and Drizella:When will this horrible nightmare disappear?!♪

Lady Tremaine: Pathetic.

Anastasia and Drizella:Oh, what a perfectly miserably awful year!♪

*Anastasia is kicked out of the house*

Anastasia:Somewhere there must be someone who loves me

He'll show me a world that I never knew

He'll ask for my hand and I'll say I do'

Oh wouldn't it be finer than fine

If that perfectly perfect love were mine♪

*Cinderella pulls the horse to a halt and looks a little worse for wear about her two stepsisters, Anastasia and Drizella*

Cinderella: I'm just a little worried.

Kit: About what?

Cinderella: My two stepsisters; Anastasia and Drizella...They've never been allowed to think for themselves...and I don't think they've ever really been all that jealous of me.

Kit: Don't worry, I'm sure that in the future there'll be some opportunity to reconnect with them.

Cinderella: I sure hope so. The time will come...eventually. But let's not worry about that too much for the moment.

Kit: Of course, not. Let us begin our celebration!

*Cinderella and the Prince continue on their way to their wedding anniversary as Anastasia continues clambering through the forest*

Fairy Godmother: He's a perfectly charming prince

She's a charmingly perfect lass

Jaq: They live happily since she fit the slipper

Gus: Made of glass

Fairy Godmother: Take your places everyone

The time is drawing near...to celebrate

Fairy Godmother, Jaq and Gus: A perfectly perfect year!

Jaq and Gus: A perfect anniversary party that we planned for you

Fairy Godmother: And I'll throw in some magic with a bibbidi bobbidi boo

Fairy Godmother, Jaq and Gus: 'On this perfectly perfect day, there is magic in the air

Anastasia: Gee, I wonder if that old lady has some wand that she can spare

Cinderella and Kit: What could ever come between us?

Anastasia: I would gladly volunteer

Fairy Godmother: And as for the future well it's perfectly clear

Cinderella: It's sure to be another magically...

Anastasia: In our case, tragically...

*Anastasia falls off*

All: Perfectly perfect year!

Anastasia: Perfect!

Corridor Encounter[]

*Cinderella encounters Anastasia in one of the Palace hallways near the Tremaine family's bedroom, and approaches her*

Anastasia (surprised): I didn't know YOU worked here, Cinderella.

Cinderella: Now, look, Anastasia...Obviously I can't allow your mother to get away with this, but I promise I will find a way to get you out of her grip.

Anastasia: Why...Thank you, Cinderella. I will say, just try to avoid getting caught.

Cinderella: Thank you too, Anastasia. I'll try my best to keep a low profile.

*Cinderella continues looking for the wand*

Returning With The Prince[]

Lady Tremaine: *grabs Anastasia by the shoulders* You do want the Prince to love you, don't you?!

Anastasia (in tears): Yes, more than anything.

Lady Tremaine: *grabs Anastasia's face* Well, stop crying!

Anastasia: But...I have the right to have concern for Cinderella!

Lady Tremaine (shaking Anastasia violently): You have NO right to sympathize with her; her talk of courage and kindness is all WORTHLESS!

Anastasia: But...I only want someone to love me for who I AM! And the Prince doesn't truly LOVE me!

Lady Tremaine (voice rising): I'M NOT LISTENING, ANASTASIA!

Anastasia: I'm not even sure if I truly love...HIM!

Lady Tremaine: WELL, YOU SHOULD!!

Anastasia (breaking down further): PLEASE, MOTHER, LISTEN TO ME!

Lady Tremaine (screaming at the top of her lungs): STOP CRYING!!!

*Lady Tremaine slowly and painfully rubs Anastasia's tears away, which causes her to develop an involuntary eye twitch. She then tightly locks her hands around Anastasia's head*

Lady Tremaine (through gritted teeth): STOP IT! *Lets go of Anastasia's head and grabs her by the shoulders again* Now, you listen to me, Anastasia Tremaine. Stop feeling sorry for yourself, stop sympathizing with Cinderella and bury your feelings deep down. If you want someone to love you, then do exactly as I say, Anastasia, because my way is the only way. This is your very last chance. Do you understand?

Anastasia (twitching continuously): Yes, Mother.

Lady Tremaine: I sincerely hope so. *Pulls the wand out* Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo!

*Lady Tremaine and her daughters teleport into hiding just as the guards burst into the bedroom. We then cross over to Cinderella and the Prince reuniting with the King*

Mercy for Anastasia[]

King: Using magic on MY SON! THE NERVE!

Grand Duke: Your Majesty, we've gone over every inch of this castle, and there's no sign of them!

King (panicking): Well then, double your search and examine every corner of this Kingdom! I want them brought into custody as soon as they're found!

(Cinderella and the Prince help the King back onto the table)

Cinderella: Your Majesty, I think we should all just relax.

Kit: Please don't worry, Dad. This is the girl I intend to marry. The stars are shining brighter, just like you said.

King (excitedly): Well, don't just stand there. Get everything ready! Call in the florists, bake an even bigger cake, and give her an even better dress! THE WEDDING IS ON TONIGHT!

Cinderella: The sooner, the merrier!

King: Absolutely!

Cinderella: But, Your Majesty, may I ask something of you?

King: *calms down* Something wrong, Cinderella?

Cinderella: I'm just worried for my stepsister...Anastasia.

King: The daughter of that...woman who used magic on MY SON?!

Cinderella: I'm afraid so, Sire. I really don't think she's entirely responsible for all of this. It is mainly my stepmother's doing, to be fair. I think Anastasia's just been forced to marry Kit to satisfy her mother's own selfish desires, and she's also been tempted by her empty promises of true love. I'm not sure whether or not she truly loves you, Kit, but I really don't think she wants power. She probably just wants a life of love, because she and her older sister Drizella have also been abused. I've sadly witnessed it myself on a number of occasions, but haven't been able to do anything to protect them.

Kit: I actually heard Drizella gloating that she and her mother had 'won' as you were being hauled away, Cinderella, and I've actually heard your stepmother threatening her for almost divulging her plan.

Cinderella: It's honestly no surprise, Kit. She would've absolutely warned Drizella to stay quiet unless she wished to join me on that ship. If we should manage to find my stepfamily, could we please spare my stepsisters from any punishment, and reserve it for their mother?

King: We can do so, because I don't believe either of your stepsisters could possibly have been fully responsible for this episode.

Cinderella: Thank you, Your Majesty.

One Final Attempt...[]

*Cinderella is in front of the mirror getting ready for her wedding when she hears her stepmother's voice*

Lady Tremaine: My, don't you look lovely?

Cinderella (shuddered): Stepmother?

*Lady Tremaine and Lucifer emerge from the shadows*

Lady Tremaine: It would appear you were right, Cinderella. The Prince DOES truly want to marry you. And marry you he WILL. Anastasia?

*Anastasia starts to come out*

Lady Tremaine: Anastasia, come out here at once! Or should I say....CINDERELLA?

*Cinderella recoils in horror*

Cinderella: What have you done to her, Stepmother?! The Prince can't be fooled.

Lady Tremaine: The Prince will never know. He will be perfectly happy. And might I add this; I ALREADY had a feeling you were the girl who went to the ball even before you made the happy mistake of singing that song! I saw your face was familiar, so I think that had you just kept a lower profile, all I would've needed to do was take a closer look at you.

Cinderella: So...even if I HADN'T been so careless, you would've just found out anyway?!

Lady Tremaine: Indeed, I would. And might I add we have come from the FUTURE!

Cinderella: You mean you've used the wand to TURN BACK THE HANDS OF TIME?!

Lady Tremaine: ABSOLUTELY. You and the Prince were ALREADY in love, and I also had to push my two poor daughters through all the housework as well as advancing my efforts to marry them for more financial stability. But poor Anastasia found your Fairy Godmother's wand, and might I add, she brought it to me, because she thought it would answer to all our prayers! And so I unravelled your happy ending to the moment you and your Fairy Godmother STARTED OUR TROUBLES!!! And might I add...I TURNED HER INTO A STATUE SO SHE COULDN'T INTERFERE!!!

*Cinderella recoils again*

Lady Tremaine: Oh, and in case you haven't already guessed, I enlarged your second glass slipper to fit Anastasia's foot before you and your animal friends started interfering!

Cinderella (visibly angered): Well, I pretty much figured that out anyway! But how can you KNOW this is what she really wants?! She's never had what I had!

Lady Tremaine: SHUT UP, CINDERELLA! And stop trying to brainwash her.

Cinderella: I'm not trying to brainwash ANYONE, Stepmother.

Lady Tremaine: You can say whatever you want, Cinderella. I don't care anymore.

Cinderella: But, Anastasia, are you sure? Is this what you *really* want?

Anastasia: I...want what you had.

Cinderella: But...Are you sure you truly love him?

Anastasia: I...

Lady Tremaine: *shoves Anastasia aside* SHE'S TRYNG TO BRAINWASH YOU AGAIN, ANASTASIA! LOOK WHERE 'TRUE LOVE' HAS GOTTEN  YOU, Cinderella!

*She transports Cinderella, along with Jaq and Gus into the warped pumpkin carriage*

The Wrath of Lady Tremaine[]

*Cinderella returns to the wedding, only to find, to her amazement, Anastasia refusing to marry the Prince, which sends Lady Tremaine into a fury)

Anastasia (vehemently): I... *Turns to Cinderella and looks her dead in the eyes* I...DON'T.

Cinderella (amazed): Anastasia?!

*Anastasia and Kit sharply pull their hands away from each other*

Anastasia: Cinderella, I'm sorry...I...just couldn't go through with this, because I only want someone to love me...for MYSELF.

Cinderella: And that's what you were trying to tell me before, isn't it?

Anastasia: I'm afraid so.

*Lady Tremaine and Drizella emerge, clearly angered by Anastasia's sudden conscience*

Lady Tremaine: You spoilt, ungrateful woman! I've given you everything you've ever wanted, Anastasia!

Anastasia: But you don't understand, I only want someone to love me for ME! Not as someone else! It's wrong, mother!

Cinderella: I agree, Anastasia.

Lady Tremaine: Now you're in trouble, my dear!

King: Guards, seize that woman!

*The King's guards rush towards the Tremaine family to arrest them as Lady Tremaine points the wand to the ceiling and decides to take the Kingdom by force*

Lady Tremaine: Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo!

*Lady Tremaine creates a whirling vortex of evil magic and begins turning the guards into farm animals, before turning her wrath onto Anastasia*

Lady Tremaine: And now for you, Anastasia!

Drizella: Turn her into a toad, mother!

*Clearly angered and horrified by Lady Tremaine's ruthlessness, Cinderella desperately steps in to protect Anastasia*

Cinderella: Leave her alone, Stepmother! She only wants someone to love her for who she is!

Lady Tremaine: Ugh, even better!

Drizella: Turn 'em both into toads, mom!

*Kit then runs in front of Cinderella and Anastasia, only for Tremaine to aim the wand at him as well*

Lady Tremaine: Oh, even better than that! You will also pay for going against me, Kit!

*The King and Grand Duke then get up and run in front of Lady Tremaine's three captives*

Cinderella: Your Majesty, stay out of this, please, for your own good!

King: If your Stepmother is going to attack my son, then I would rather die WITH him, Cinderella!

Lady Tremaine (burst of rage): ANYTHING TO GET YOU OFF THIS THRONE!

Cinderella (whispering in horror): WHAT?!

*Lady Tremaine flies into an uncontrollable fury as she starts screaming at her captives en masse*

Lady Tremaine: YOU ARE A TRAITOR, ANASTASIA TREMAINE! DRIZELLA AND I HAVE GIVEN YOU EVERYTHING YOU COULD EVER WISH FOR; BEAUTY, RICHES AND POWER, AND YOU HAVE THROWN IT ALL BACK IN OUR FACES! EVERY SINGLE THING I HAVE EVER DONE SINCE YOU AND DRIZELLA WERE BORN HAS BEEN FOR YOU, AND YOU ALONE!

Anastasia: Everything?! Well I sincerely doubt that. You killed my father, didn't you?

Lady Tremaine: I DISPOSED OF YOUR UNGRATEFUL FATHER BECAUSE HE WAS A BURDEN TO YOU AND DRIZELLA!

Cinderella: But your first husband was probably the only person who's ever truly loved Anastasia!

Lady Tremaine: WELL HE DIDN'T BELIEVE GREED AND AMBITION ARE GOOD! AND I DID THE EXACT SAME THING TO YOUR FATHER, CINDERELLA, AND YOUR MOTHER AS WELL, SO WE COULD HAVE FREE LABOR TO KEEP OUR CHÂTEAU SPOTLESS SO THE ROYAL FAMILY WOULD SEE US AS EVEN BETTER ARISTOCRATS! I WILL HAVE YOU KNOW THAT I POISONED ALL OF THEM TO MAKE THEIR DEATHS AS SLOW AND PAINFUL AS I COULD!

*A terrifying flashback sequence begins showing Anastasia and Drizella's late father, along with the deaths of Cinderella's parents, and the beginning of Tremaine's abuse towards the three of her daughters*

Anastasia: SO YOU COULD MAKE IT LOOK AS THOUGH THEY DIED NATURALLY?!

LADY TREMAINE: INDEED! I'VE DONE ALL OF THIS TO HELP YOU ACHIEVE POWER, ANASTASIA, AND YOU'VE DECIDED TO REPAY ME LIKE THIS?!

*Cinderella and Anastasia recoil in horror*

Anastasia: I can't go along with you anymore, Mother, because I have learnt the TRUE meaning of love!

Cinderella: And she refused to marry Kit because we both know that you've only tried to have her married to royalty to quench your thirst for power, and that you won't give up a single thing for Anastasia; no wonder you pushed her and Drizella through all that hard labour in my absence! That's not true love!

Anastasia: I wanted your approval all my life, Mother.

Cinderella: Yes, you did, Anastasia, but she now knows that nothing she does will ever be good enough for you!

Anastasia: And all you want above all else is power! You don't truly care about ANY of us!

Lady Tremaine (bigger burst of an anger): YOU LIAR!

*Lady Tremaine's captives helplessly stumble backwards*

Lady Tremaine: AND YOU CAN GET RID OF THAT STUPID LITTLE EYE TWITCH! KEEP 'EM WIDE OPEN WITH TERROR, ANASTASIA!

Cinderella (growing even more horrified): What? *stumbles over her words* Where did she get that twitch from?!

Lady Tremaine: SHE HAD THE AUDACITY TO WEEP THAT THE PRINCE COULDN'T GIVE HER THIS USELESS, FUTILE, LITTLE FEELING CALLED LOVE! I TOLD HER, QUITE RIGHTLY, TO STOP CRYING, AND TO JUST GROW THE HELL UP AND MARRY THE PRINCE SO I COULD GAIN ACCESS TO THE CASTLE, CINDERELLA! AND JUST TO MAKE SURE SHE NEVER HAD THE AUDACITY TO BLUB LIKE SOME SILLY LITTLE GIRL, I RUBBED MY THUMBS ACROSS HER EYES, TO DRY UP THOSE SELFISH, INFANTILE LITTLE TEARS FOR GOOD!

*Cinderella gasps again*

Cinderella (indignant): How could you do this to your OWN DAUGHTER?!

Lady Tremaine: BECAUSE YOU AND ANASTASIA JUST HAD TO WEAPONIZE THIS PARASITE CALLED LOVE! AND YOUR KINGDOM ISN'T SAFE, EITHER, YOUR MAJESTY; I DON'T EVEN NEED TO BE RELATED TO YOU; I HAVE MAGIC; THE ULTIMATE POWER, SO I CAN STILL RULE THIS KINGDOM!

Cinderella: That's the only reason you married Anastasia and Drizella's father in the first place, isn't it?!

Lady Tremaine: YES IT IS, CINDERELLA! GREED, AMBITION, ANGER AND LUST! YOU ALL UNDERESTIMATE THOSE TRAITS! AND...MIGHT I ADD...MY OWN PARENTS TAUGHT ME THAT!

Anastasia: You were brought up to believe in those horrible traits?!

Lady Tremaine: ABSOLUTELY, AND ONCE I WAS IN MY EARLY 20'S, I DECIDED TO BREAK OFF TIES WITH THEM TO MARRY A RICH ARISTOCRAT IN THE FORM OF YOUR FATHER, ANASTASIA, BECAUSE THEIR TEACHINGS HAD TAKEN TOO BIG A TOLL ON US FINANCIALLY, SO ALL I COULD DO WAS DITCH THEM! I MUSTERED ALL THE FINANCIAL RESOURCES I HAD LEFT TO MARRY HIM SO I COULD KEEP MY AMBITIONS ALIVE!

Cinderella: A lust for power, and a desire to ruin the lives of your own daughters, along with the fact that you killed all our other parents; that's enough to drive anyone insane. But it's WORSE than that! You're worse than even your own parents, Lady Tremaine!

Lady Tremaine: IF I AM, THEN I'M PROUD OF IT!

Cinderella: So your promise of me having a mother's love after I lost my biological mother, and Anastasia having true love and beauty...It's all been a PACK OF LIES!

Lady Tremaine: OF COURSE IT HAS! LYING AND DECEIT ALWAYS WORKS WONDERS! *lowers her voice to an ominous whisper* And as for you, Drizella... *after a brief pause, she continuous screaming at the top of her lungs* ...I DON'T NEED YOU ANYMORE! *pushes Drizella over* BIBBIDI-BOBBIDI-BOO!

Anastasia: Drizella, NO!

*Lady Tremaine turns Drizella into a toad, and Cinderella and Anastasia can only watch in horror, unable to intervene as Lady Tremaine's face begins glowing white with rage. The rage-induced magic spills out through the Chapel entrance and bell tower and into the sky and starts a violent thunderstorm, as panic breaks out in the nearby village*

Lady Tremaine: SHE WASN'T WORTH BRINGING ALONG ANYWAY; SHE ISN'T AS PATHETICALLY LOVESICK AS YOU ARE, ANASTASIA! AND THERE'S A FEW OTHER USELESS BEINGS I NO LONGER NEED!

*Lady Tremaine uses the wand to seal the chapel entrance, before using it to teleport Lucifer out of the woods and into the chapel, as he lands right next to her. Tremaine then does the same to all of Cinderella's mouse and bird friends, along with her dog Bruno and her horse Major as they land behind her five captives*

Anastasia: Lucifer?!

Cinderella: *looks around in horror* Bruno?! Major?! Jaq...Gus...Mary... *turns to Lady Tremaine, indignant* What have you done to them?!

Lady Tremaine: NO-ONE IS LEAVING THIS WEDDING! AND JUST TO SEE THIS THROUGH COMPLETELY, I'VE DECIDED TO FINISH OFF YOUR STUPID LITTLE ANIMAL FRIENDS; BECAUSE I KNOW HOW USEFUL THEY WERE TO YOU FINDING YOUR HAPPILY EVER AFTER AND SLOWING ME DOWN, AND I NOW REALIZE THAT *EVERYONE* IS USELESS TO ME!

Cinderella: So this has all been to seize this Kingdom...All these years? Even before your OWN DAUGHTERS were born? It's all been leading to THIS, because it's all been about YOU, Lady Tremaine? Frankly, I can't even call you 'STEP-mother' anymore, let alone 'MOTHER'.

Lady Tremaine (smugly): INDEED. You finding Fairy Godmother's wand was a VERY happy mistake for me, Anastasia...Or, at least I THOUGHT it was, anyway!

Anastasia: And I'm afraid YOU were wrong, mother! I turned her into a statue myself, Cinderella. It was just an accident though, and I only took it because I wanted love!

Cinderella: *turns to Anastasia* Oh, Anastasia...I'm sorry to hear that. *turns back to Lady Tremaine* Anastasia taking the wand probably wasn't the best thought-out decision on her end, *lowers her voice to a more heated undertone* but we both know who's REALLY responsible for all of this.

Lady Tremaine: Indeed, you do. *returns to screaming* AND EVEN IF YOU *HADN'T* WANDERED OFF FROM DOING YOUR CHORES LIKE YOU DID BEFORE I TRIED TO UNRAVEL ALL MY TROUBLES, ANASTASIA, I CAN ASSURE YOU BOTH YOU AND CINDERELLA THAT I WOULD HAVE EVENTUALLY GONE LOOKING FOR THIS WAND *MYSELF*! FROM THE MOMENT I DISCOVERED YOU WERE THE MYSTERIOUS PRINCESS AT THE BALL, CINDERELLA, I KNEW THAT MAGIC WAS THE *ONLY* POSSIBLE REASON YOU COULD ESCAPE AND THRUST THIS YEAR OF HINDRANCE UPON ME, NOT TO MENTION YOU, ANASTASIA, DARING TO DISOBEY ME NOW! AND YOU TAKING THE WAND YOURSELF WAS JUST ANOTHER HINDRANCE! YOU MANAGED TO DECEIVE ME INTO THINKING YOU COULD TRULY HELP ME...AND YET, ALL YOUR LOVESICKNESS HAS REALLY DONE IS SLOW ME DOWN EVEN MORE, WHEN I COULD HAVE JUST SOUGHT OUT THIS WAND AND FINISHED THE JOB MYSELF!

Cinderella: So if you'd found my Fairy Godmother's wand first, you wouldn't have needed to turn back the hands of time..

Anastasia: ...Nor would you have needed to lull Cinderella and her father into your trap...

Cinderella: ...And nor would you have EVEN needed to marry to give birth to Anastasia and Drizella?!

Lady Tremaine (nearing the apex of her rage): ABSOLUTELY NOT!!

Cinderella: So, Anastasia was right...All you wanted WAS power...You gave birth to your two daughters and raised them as lambs for slaughter, and then lulled my poor father and I into your plan, JUST so you could seize this humble Kingdom for your own terrible wishes! And now all of that is pointless to you, because all you would've needed to take the throne, if you'd only thought of it first, was MAGIC! *burst of anger* THAT'S ALL YOU'VE EVER WANTED FROM THE VERY BEGINNING!

Lady Tremaine: YOU ARE SADLY RIGHT! AND I DON'T NEED ANY OF YOU ANYMORE; *turns to look down at Lucifer* NOT EVEN YOU, LUCIFER! *turns Lucifer into a statue and turns to Cinderella and her animal friends* AND YOU TRAITORS ARE ESPECIALLY NO LONGER NEEDED; FOR WITH THE POWER OF THIS WAND, I CAN RULE THIS KINGDOM ALONE! YOU WILL ALL PERISH TOGETHER, AND THERE'S NOTHING ANYONE COULD HAVE DONE TO STOP ME! POWER, RICHES, AND REVENGE; I SHALL CLAIM ALL OF THEM!!!

Cinderella: *takes a deep breath to regain her composure* Well, maybe one thing can still stop you. *turns to Kit* Kit, I need that sword.

Kit: Cinderella, are you sure you can deal with her alone? You may need me.

Cinderella: Thank you, Kit, but I have to do this myself.

*Kit nods in agreement and gives Cinderella his sword. She then stands in front of the other four captives to protect them*

Cinderella (keeping her anger in check): Go on then, Lady Tremaine; try and turn us into toads! Let's see if your greed, and ambition, and hatred are really as powerful as you think they are! Let's see if your parents really were right!

*Lady Tremaine finally reaches the very apex of her wrath. Her face is now glowing white, her hair and lips glowing red, and her eyes glowing bright orange with decades worth of hatred and lust*

Lady Tremaine: ALRIGHT, THEN! YOU ASKED FOR IT, CINDERELLA! I AM GOING TO FINISH THIS ONCE AND FOR ALL!

*Cinderella steadies herself to deflect the bolt of magic Lady Tremaine is about to launch, as the latter begins violently waving the wand around before finally releasing all her hatred and lust upon the Kingdom*

Lady Tremaine (screaming the loudest she's ever screamed in her life): BIBBIDI-BOBBIDI...BIBBIDI-BOBBIDI...BIBBIDI-BOBBIDI...BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*Lady Tremaine fires a bolt of magic at her captives in a final vengeful act of greed and cruelty. Cinderella manages to deflect the magic blast and it bounces off the sword and back to Lady Tremaine and Drizella, causing the vortex to suck them away, along with Lucifer. It then begins to whirl around much more violently as the thunderstorm intensifies over the Kingdom; a culmination of all Lady Tremaine's devilish traits*

Cinderella: Cover your eyes, everyone!

*Everyone covers their eyes as the tempest continues for at least another 15 seconds, and panic continues across the Kingdom. After one final flash of light and one last mighty clap of thunder, the vortex finally fades away and sends Lady Tremaine and Drizella to the cellar, with them both turned into toads, while Lucifer, still in his cat form, finds himself outside the closed Palace gates. Cinderella and the other four captives breathe a sigh of relief at having finally freed the Kingdom from Lady Tremaine's devilish decades-long plot. The crowd in attendance along with the rest of the Kingdom also rejoices*

Kit: Thank you so much, Cinderella.

Cinderella: Of course, Kit. *turns to check on Anastasia, the King and the Grand Duke* Is everyone alright?

Anastasia (looking like she doesn't deserve Cinderella's protection): Yes, I'm fine.

King: Yes, we're all still in one piece.

Why should I forgive myself?[]

*Anastasia takes Cinderella and Kit's hands and puts them both together*

Anastasia: This is the real Cinderella, your one true love.

*Cinderella and Kit look at each other lovingly, before they embrace*

Cinderella: Hello, Kit.

Kit: It's such a relief to see you, Cinderella.

*Anastasia sadly walks away. She then looks down on the wand and crouches down, while twitching her eyes even harder, trying desperately to hold back her tears*

Anastasia: Cinderella? *Cinderella and the Prince turn to Anastasia* I've got to use this wand. I just want to show everyone what a...terrible person I really am.

Cinderella: It's fine, Anastasia, go ahead.

*Anastasia shakingly picks up the wand and places it on her chest*

Anastasia: Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo.

*Anastasia uses the wand to transform back to her normal plain-looking self. She then throws the wand over to Cinderella and walks away*

Anastasia: Just take the wand.

Cinderella: Anastasia...what's wrong?

*Anastasia walks up to the King and tries to give the seashell back to him*

Anastasia: Your Majesty, I don't deserve this.

*The King tries to close Anastasia's hand back over the seashell*

King: Everyone deserves true love.

Anastasia (in a heated undertone): No, Sire. That is a LIE. Only one of us can have true love, me OR Cinderella, and I cannot have it; I tried to take it away from her. I therefore must let Cinderella have that love, and make sure I never have it at all.

King (shocked): Alright, then...If you truly believe you are unworthy of love, then you may shut it out.

*The King reluctantly takes his seashell back, clearly dismayed by Anastasia's adamance*

Cinderella (in her head): Why can only one of us have true love, Anastasia?

*Anastasia turns back to Cinderella*

Anastasia: There, Cinderella. You've got your true love. I'm leaving you; I've got no choice.

*Anastasia turns around and begins to leave the Chapel*

Cinderella: Wait!

*Anastasia turns around*

Cinderella: You don't have to leave me, Anastasia. I forgive you, and you should forgive yourself, because I know you were only doing this because you were under your mother's influence. You don't need to hold a grudge against yourself like this.

Anastasia (breaking down): I can't forgive myself.

Cinderella (shuddered): But...But, why not?!

Anastasia: Why should I stay, and why should I forgive myself? And...And why should you forgive me? I've caused you more than enough trouble; I've treated you horribly since my mother killed your father, and tried to take the Prince away from you. I'm sorry for everything, and I promise I will stay out of your life forever.

*Anastasia finally becomes angry and begins screaming at Cinderella at the top of her lungs, as her eye twitch wears off, and tears begin to well up in her eyes*

Anastasia (furiously): I DON'T DESERVE YOUR FORGIVENESS, CINDERELLA, LET ALONE TRUE LOVE! I DON'T DESERVE A SMIDGEN...AN IOTA...A KERNEL OF YOUR FORGIVENESS!

*Anastasia begins to tear up her own dress*

Anastasia: YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE TRIED TO PROTECT ME! YOU SHOULD HAVE JUST LET MY MOTHER TURN ME INTO A TOAD AND LET KIT PROTECT YOU, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, AND I SHOULD HAVE EITHER LET TREMAINE USE MAGIC ON ME, OR JUST RAN AWAY AS FAST AS I COULD AND HID MYSELF AWAY FROM YOU AND KIT! I WOULD NO LONGER BE OF ANY CONCERN TO EITHER OF YOU HAD I DONE THAT! I DIDN'T DESERVE YOUR PROTECTION, GIVEN ALL THE PAIN I'VE PUT YOU THROUGH!

*Anastasia continues angrily tearing up her dress as we begin to intercut between this scene and a re-animated scene from the first movie of Anastasia and Drizella tearing up Cinderella's first ballgown on Lady Tremaine's orders*

Cinderella: You don't deserve to be punished that way, Anastasia!

Anastasia: YOU'RE ONLY HALF RIGHT!

Cinderella: Anastasia, please, just calm down!

*Anastasia throws her already damaged dress on the floor and begins trampling on it violently, as Cinderella and her animal friends become increasingly horrified at this even worse repeat of the very episode that almost drove her to breaking point the previous night*

Anastasia: I MAY NOT DESERVE TO HAVE MAGIC USED ON ME LIKE MOTHER TRIED TO DO TO US, BUT DEEP DOWN, YOU KNOW THAT I STILL DESERVE TO  BE PUNISHED, AND SURELY YOU KNOW THAT AS WELL, KIT!

Kit: That isn't true, Anastasia!

*The flashbacks between this scene and Cinderella's lament in the first movie become increasingly intense as Anastasia continues dealing even more damage to her dress, to the point that it becomes unwearable*

Anastasia: AND IT'S ONLY FAIR, ISN'T IT?! AFTER I TRIED TO STOP YOU FROM BEING WITH YOUR TRUE LOVE, I DESERVE TO SUFFER THE SAME FATE!

Cinderella: 'An eye for an eye?!'

Anastasia: ABSOLUTELY, CINDERELLA!

*As we continue intercutting between Anastasia's meltdown and Cinderella's first meeting with Fairy Godmother, Cinderella herself begins to break down*

Cinderella (growing increasingly horrified): But, what is that going to solve for me?!

Anastasia: IT MAY NOT MAKE YOU HAPPY, CINDERELLA, BUT AT LEAST I'LL HAVE PAID THE PRICE!

*Bruno desperately tries to intervene but Cinderella reluctantly stops him*

Cinderella: Bruno, just leave her! *Bruno dashes back over* I'm sorry Bruno, but I don't think there's anything you can do.

*As Anastasia finally finishes reducing her dress to a few pink and purple shreds that can't even be stitched back together, Cinderella sees more flashing images; this time of Lady Tremaine locking her in her room before she turned back the hands of time, and then of her asking Anastasia if she'd truly be happy marrying the Prince. Cinderella remembers that at least she had her mouse friends and her dog Bruno to save her, and now fears that nobody will be able to help Anastasia if she should impose these exact same punishments on herself. These flashbacks and as Anastasia begins breaking off the heels of her shoes; something she's never once done even to CINDERELLA*

Anastasia: AND THEREFORE, IF YOU WISH TO BANISH ME FROM THE KINGDOM, CINDERELLA, YOU MAY DO SO WITH MY BLESSING! DO YOU UNDERSTAND?!

*Cinderella begins having yet another flashback, this time to Lady Tremaine having her banished from the Kingdom, and clearly doesn't want Anastasia to suffer the same punishment as she has yet to find any true love to save her from such a fate*

Cinderella (fighting back tears): Yes, Anastasia, but you honestly don't deserve to be punished. *takes a deep breath to compose herself* Before you go, why, Anastasia? That's all I want to know. Why must you punish yourself like this?

*Anastasia yanks the golden clip out of her hair and turns her hair into a disorganized mess*

Anastasia: ANYONE UNDER LADY TREMAINE'S INFLUENCE IN UNDOING YOUR HAPPILY EVER AFTER SHOULD BE CONSIDERED AN ENEMY OF THE KINGDOM, BECAUSE THEY TOOK AN ACTIVE PART IN DOING SO! I HAVE THEREFORE GOT TO FINISH THIS! I HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO STAY OUT OF YOUR LIFE! MY DECISION IS FINAL!!!!

*Anastasia turns around and races down the aisle*

Cinderella (breaking down): Anastasia, wait! Come back, please, I'm begging you!

*Anastasia refuses to listen to Cinderella and races outside as everyone watches helplessly. She then mounts Cinderella's horse and rides off into the night with angry determination to cut off all ties with Cinderella and the Royal Family. Anastasia then gallops away to an isolated area of the town. We then fade back to Cinderella breaking down in tears after Anastasia's outburst, even more so than when Lady Tremaine locked her in her room in the first movie*

Poor Anastasia...[]

Cinderella: Oh, poor Anastasia...

Mary: What are we going to do?

Cinderella: I don't think Anastasia's EVER had true love in her life, and that's a genuinely sad thing to say. And because she's so...deeply remorseful for going along with her mother, she's decided she can never have true love, or even forgiveness for that matter. And I want to forgive Anastasia because I know she's suffered as well, but she seems unable to accept it, and she's just given up all faith in herself.

Gus: She must have been so scarred from being raised by stepmommy.

Cinderella: I've never seen Anastasia so angry before, and...I think that's the first time Anastasia has cried at least since Lady Tremaine killed her father...and the first time she's ever cried in front of me...And I now know where she got that awful eye twitch from.

Jaq: Eye twitch?!

Kit: She quite cruelly told Anastasia to stop crying when she found out that I didn't love her.

Cinderella: And she then rubbed her eyes painfully when she couldn't stop crying. And then she told her to grow up and marry Kit.

Gus: SHE REALLY DID THAT?!

Cinderella (breaking down even further and becoming angry): I'm afraid so, Gus. I'm...I'm so sorry... *wipes the tears away with a handkerchief* I'm just...So scared for Anastasia. Lady Tremaine never cared about ANY of us from the very beginning. She's used the three of us all our lives, JUST so she can seize control of the Kingdom...And I know that even if Anastasia or Drizella had tried to stand up for me after we lost my father, and even if I had tried to do the same for them... *burst of anger directed at her Stepmother* Lady Tremaine would've just punished ALL THREE of us, and found some other way to take the throne, like she tried to do tonight! *bigger burst of rage* BECAUSE THAT'S ALL SHE'S EVER CARED ABOUT FROM THE OUTSET!

Kit: Oh, dear...

Cinderella: And I know all Anastasia wants is someone to love her...for HERSELF. What are we going to do for her?!

Kit: Oh, come here, Cinderella.

*Kit embraces Cinderella and comforts her, as she takes a deep breath to regain her composure*

Cinderella: I do apologize for this outburst, everyone. I know I wouldn't normally have cried that much. I'm honestly feeling even worse than I was last night, or this morning when Lady Tremaine tried to lock me away, and frankly...even more so than when she tried to have me banished, for that matter. I just can't even begin to tell you how afraid I am for Anastasia. I'm worried that we might lose her, and I really don't want that to happen, because she's not such a bad person on the inside.....Anastasia.....

Cinderella:Please don’t stray,

don’t run away…

just stay with me-

We know you’ve made mistakes

You think it’s better this way-

Why can’t you see…

None of this is your fault.

You know who’s to blame.

we can end this assault

on your name…

Your mother is cruel…

I admit that the rules are estranged…

what can I say?

Anastasia…

Dear, Anastasia…

Come home to me, my sister…

We can be, together… a happy family,

all you want from me

how can I make you see?

*Kit comforts Cinderella*

You have a home here

Though the future is unclear

I swear I’ll be by your side

You’ll never lose your pride again…

Anastasia…

Dear, Anastasia…

Cinderella (whispering under her breath): I love you…

Kit: We will find her, Cinderella. I promise.

Cinderella: Thank you, Kit. She needs our help more than ever.

Kit: Anastasia's free from her mother's grasp now, and she deserves our support.

Cinderella: Absolutely, Kit. I think she's ALWAYS had a heart of gold deep inside.

King: If I may say something, Cinderella?

Cinderella: Yes, Your Majesty?

King: I hate to say this, but I honestly think maybe we should just leave her be; because we could all see how adamant she was that she's a goner. I know for a fact that we definitely shouldn't punish her, because she's doubtless been scarred from being raised by that...horrible woman.

Cinderella: *sighs* I'm afraid you're right there, Your Majesty. But, I don't think we should just leave her. It isn't too late to stop her from leaving.

*Cue a sad flashback to the scene of Cinderella pleading with the King not to punish Anastasia or Drizella too severely*

Kit: It wasn't our choice for Anastasia to run away, was it?

Cinderella: No, it was definitely her choice, but it isn't too late to change her mind.

Kit: But just before I forget, I think we should complete the ceremony.

Cinderella: I agree, and then we'll look for Anastasia. Although there is one other thing.

Kit: Your Fairy Godmother?

Cinderella (giggling): I'm afraid so.

Kit: May I join you?

Cinderella: Absolutely, Kit.

(Cinderella points the wand to bring back Fairy Godmother from the stone state she was turned into before Lady Tremaine turned back time)

Cinderella and Kit (in unison): Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo!

*Cinderella and Kit restore Fairy Godmother from her stone state*

Cinderella (giving the wand back to Fairy Godmother): Welcome back.

Fairy Godmother: Why, thank you, Cinderella. If I may ask, where's Anastasia?

Cinderella: Well, I'm afraid things have gone even further south for her. She realized that she only wanted to be loved for who she is, and her mother finally turned on all of us to try and seize the Kingdom BY FORCE. But because she's feeling so angry with herself for everything she's done to me, she's decided to leave the Kingdom for good. And would you believe it; she's even torn up her OWN CLOTHING; even her shoes and her hair.

Fairy Godmother: Oh, goodness...Can't get much worse than that, surely?

Cinderella: But I have seen the good in her heart, and I think that once we're married, we should try one last time to turn her back over; we don't want to lose her.

Fairy Godmother: I heartily agree, Cinderella, but before you two are married, I just need to give you a better outfit.

Cinderella (eagerly): Go for it!

Fairy Godmother: Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo!

*Fairy Godmother points the wand at Cinderella and repairs her wedding attire*

Cinderella: Aww, thank you so much.

Fairy Godmother: Would you like me to return you to your former life?

Cinderella: That one before Lady Tremaine used the wand to turn back the hands of time?

Fairy Godmother: Yes, absolutely. I honestly don't think Anastasia could've done it herself.

Cinderella: Uhm...No thanks. I'm sure Kit and I will have a much happier life ahead of us, and hopefully so will Anastasia. *Cue a sorrowful flashback sequence to Lady Tremaine's every attempt to seize the Kingdom* I know for a fact that it wasn't Anastasia who turned back the hands of time, because I don't believe she took the wand out of any kind of callousness at all. I believe she only took it because she just desperately wanted to escape from her mother and find her own true love; because I'm sure she could SEE how happy we must've been in that former timeline. My stepmother was ultimately responsible for all of this.

Fairy Godmother: And I just happened to unthinkingly drop the wand.

Cinderella: Don't worry; I know you didn't mean to. Needless to say, though, it's probably just as well that Lady Tremaine wasn't there; she could've done something even worse than turning back the hands of time if she'd found it first.

Kit: And even if Anastasia hadn't shirked her chores, Lady Tremaine would've eventually gone after that wand herself. Magic was probably the only conclusion she could possibly draw for Cinderella being able to escape her in that old timeline.

Cinderella: And my stepmother tried absolutely everything; breaking my first glass slipper, bewitching the second one so it would fit Anastasia's foot, altering Kit's memory and trying to have me exiled, and even shape-shifting Anastasia into a duplicate of me! But Anastasia couldn't bear to live the rest of her life under those pretences...and that was when Lady Tremaine decided her decades of scheming were now null and void, and tried to seize the Kingdom by FORCE. So I had to defend everyone before Lady Tremaine could finally take down the Kingdom's humble leadership...

Fairy Godmother: And I want you to know that I am aware that Lady Tremaine killed your parents, and Anastasia's father, and left her own parents to perish, but I don't think there's anything I could've done to stop her at all.

Cinderella: Oh, please don't worry, Fairy Godmother. I understand.

Kit: If anything, she probably would've worked around it fairly easily.

Cinderella: And I know that if Tremaine had found your wand or some other form of magic, she'd probably just take any opportunity she could to set her plot back into motion, and she wouldn't have needed to do any of those other horrible things to enable herself to move into the Palace. Everything she's done has only been for HERSELF. It's always been about Lady Tremaine and her own terrible wishes.

Fairy Godmother: Well, all I can say is that I'm glad you've managed to bring her to justice.

Cinderella: Why, thank you, Fairy Godmother.

Fairy Godmother: And now, I will leave you both to enjoy your new life together.

Cinderella: Goodbye!

*Fairy Godmother dematerializes as Cinderella throws a wink at her*

King: Well, does anyone want to marry my son?

Cinderella: I do.

Priest: I now pronounce you as husband and wife!

*Cinderella and the Prince go for a kiss as the crowd cheers. A few moments later, Cinderella and Kit prepare to track down Anastasia before the wedding reception. It's here that we are introduced to the Baker from Cinderella II who is now called David (and voiced by Daniel Radcliffe)*

Cinderella: I'm afraid we're going to have to track down my stepsister Anastasia.

David: The girl who ran away a few minutes ago? If it is her, then I'm very worried for her.

Cinderella: I'm afraid so, David, but we'll be back as soon as we can. And Your Majesty, could you ask your guards to take my horse Major to the stables, and maybe give Bruno a nice, warm place to rest?

King: In fact, better than that; Maior can pull our carriage if he wants to, and Bruno can come with us as well!

Cinderella: Why thank you, Sire. That's very kind of you.

*A few voices are heard wishing Cinderella and Kit good luck in finding Anastasia. They then climb into one of the King's private carriages pulled by Major, accompanied by a small group of guards on horses, with the mice stowing away on the back of the carriage and Bruno and the bluebirds following closely behind*

Finding Anastasia[]

*We fade to Anastasia, having arrived at the harbour, starting to reconsider her choice to run away. She walks to the edge of the pontoon and sits down. She begins having numerous flashbacks to her previous actions, such as her confession that she only wants someone to love her for who she is, as Cinderella and the other royals continue to scout the Kingdom for her*

Cinderella: I think Anastasia might have gone to the harbor; she seems bent on leaving the Kingdom.

King: In which case, we'd better change our course!

*As the carriage changes its course for the harbor, Anastasia sees yet another flashback, this time to her outburst directed at Cinderella, and how Cinderella genuinely doesn't want Anastasia to punish herself, as she truly wants Anastasia to be happy. She then sees one final vision of her forcing the King to take his seashell back, out of adamance that she doesn't deserve it. She then slowly sits upright and begins to realize why these thoughts have been haunting her*

Anastasia: Maybe she was right. Maybe I should forgive myself. Maybe I should let Cinderella and Kit forgive me, and maybe I was wrong to just run away like this, and maybe me doing all these horrible things to myself...won't give her any closure at all...Yes, I SHOULD forgive myself!

*Cinderella and the rest of the search party soon arrive at the harbor and pull the carriage to a halt*

Cinderella: Anastasia?

Anastasia: Cinderella? Kit?

*Cinderella and Anastasia both come running over to each other as Anastasia breaks down again*

Anastasia (tearing up): I'm sorry, Cinderella...I...I know I was out of my mind to just run away like that...But I just...Desperately wanted to make you happy...And I felt I had to do something but didn't KNOW what to do! I know I shouldn't have tried to remove myself from your life because I KNOW you want me to be happy!

Cinderella: Awwww...

*Cinderella, her face full of concern, embraces Anastasia and tries to console her, as her animal friends and the other royals look on sadly*

Anastasia (in tears): I'm sorry, Cinderella, I'm sorry!

Cinderella (in a soothing voice): Just relax, Anastasia. Everything is alright.

*Cinderella and Anastasia are embraced for at least a minute, accompanied by a haunting flashback montage of Cinderella witnessing Lady Tremaine's abuse of Anastasia and Drizella with her own two eyes, as a single tear rolls down Cinderella's left cheek, as she knows how much her stepsisters have truly suffered. Cinderella and Anastasia then let go of each other as Cinderella gently wipes Anastasia's tears away with a handkerchief*

Anastasia: Cinderella, I want you to understand that I know how wrong I was to punish myself by running away, and I regret daring you to turn back on your kindness like that. This time, I accept your forgiveness and I believe I should try to forgive myself. But of course, I want you to know that I only went along with my mother's plan because I was getting desperate, and I felt I had no other choice. But, I couldn't go through with it in the end because I knew she never cared about me anyway, or indeed anyone else at all.

Cinderella: I understand completely, Anastasia. I know you've always had a heart of gold deep down, because I know you've only done all these awful things because your mother has forced you to, and I know only too well how sorry you are for everything. Your mother has never truly cared about ANYONE; not even LUCIFER. And to tell you the truth, I don't believe ANY of it was your fault, or even Drizella's, for that matter. All you could realistically do was go along with it, because of the leash your mother had you on.

Kit: It's honestly no wonder she essentially told you to bury your emotions and have you that horrible eye twitch.

Cinderella: But you're free from her now. I'm genuinely thankful for you refusing to go through with the wedding, because you were there for me in the end, Anastasia, despite everything your mother's done to us, and that ALONE means a lot to me, because I don't think it's EVER too late to make amends. And we were honestly devastated when you tore up your OWN CLOTHING like that, and especially when you ran away. We would've been heartbroken if you HAD managed to get on that ship, because we didn't want to lose you, Anastasia.

Anastasia: I was just saying those horrible things about myself and doing all that damage to my clothes like I did to you last night, not because I really believed it would make you make you happy to see me pay the price for everything I've done to you...

Cinderella: ...But because you were just scared.

Anastasia: Yes, and I know I was expressing it badly.

Kit: And I was equally shocked that you resolved to leave the Kingdom and I think you were WAY too hard on yourself, Anastasia, because you know you don't deserve to be exiled, and you know neither of us would want such a thing to happen to you.

Cinderella (regretfully): And while you taking the wand may have been a little short-sighted, I completely understand why you did it...And even if you hadn't fled our old Château during our first wedding anniversary in that previous timeline, I know your mother would eventually seek it out herself. I believe the only reason she chose not to go after it earlier...was because she was just biding her time to keep suspicion down, and I'm sure she would've done something far worse than just turning back the hands of time And to be fair, you were at least able to slow her down and force her to make more of an effort to cover her tracks.

Anastasia (sadly): Well, at least until I refused to marry you, Kit, anyway.

Cinderella: Yes, I'm afraid you're right. You calling off the wedding was absolutely the final straw for your mother, because she realized that you taking the wand, if anything, was just another hindrance to her trying to usurp the throne. Her decades-long plan to subtly marry her way into the Royal Family had become utterly POINTLESS as far as she was concerned, and so she decided to finish the job by relying purely on the wand. *sighs* That's what she probably would've done in the first place if she'd only thought of it, and I think at that point, only I could stop her. *smiles again and giggles a little* So, the fact that you found the wand first before your mother was actually a blessing in disguise. And I'm so glad that you changed your mind about leaving the Kingdom, because it wouldn't solve anything for me, and would NEVER make me happy. And I'm glad you now know that you DO deserve my forgiveness.

Kit: As am I.

Anastasia: I know you might find this hard to do, but do you think we can try and put all of this behind us.

Cinderella: Why, of course we can, Anastasia. I'm sure we can start afresh and become True Sisters from this moment forward. All you need is a second chance. And you won't even have to go back to our old mansion; you can move into the Palace with me, and I can even appoint you as my Lady-In-Waiting; but only if you want me to, of course.

Anastasia: I would honestly love to...

Cinderella: I KNEW you would.

*A smile finally creeps across Anastasia's face, much to Cinderella's relief*

Anastasia: Thank you so much, Cinderella.

*Cinderella pulls Anastasia over and gives her a huge hug*

Cinderella: Aww, you're welcome, Anastasia.

*Cinderella and Anastasia let go of each other as Cinderella gently gives the King's seashell back to Anastasia on his behalf*

Cinderella: The King wants me to give this back to you; because I too believe that everyone deserves a chance at true love. *she gently closes Anastasia's hand over the seashell* And now you can go after that love without your mother on your back.

Anastasia: Thank you, Cinderella. You too, Sire.

King: Of course!

Kit: Father and I are proud to welcome you into our family.

Cinderella: Of course, Anastasia. Anything for my dear sister.

*Kit walks over and joins Cinderella and Anastasia in a group hug, as the other royals and Cinderella's animal friends rejoice*

King: Come on, everyone. Let's go home.

*Everyone sets off back to the Palace for Cinderella's wedding reception. However, near the end of their journey, Fairy Godmother reappears in their path*

Cinderella: Oh, hello, Fairy Godmother, what a surprise to see you again!

Fairy Godmother: I just thought I'd let you know that I've decided to restore your stepmother and your older stepsister to their human forms, because I know they were turned into toads during that confrontation.

Cinderella: Thanks for letting us know. Now, I'm not sure how we should deal with Lady Tremaine, but I think we should go easier on Drizella.

King: I strongly agree.

Anastasia: So do I; my mother's treated her no better than she's treated me and Cinderella.

Cinderella: Yes, poor Drizella shouldn't just be imprisoned. She isn't at fault for any of this, either.

King: I will think very carefully about what best to do with your stepmother soon, Cinderella.

Anastasia: And there's one other being I'm concerned about; her cat Lucifer.

Cinderella: My stepmother kept Lucifer in the house to get rid of mice, so she could blame my stepsisters and I for them running around in the house. And sadly I think Lucifer is...a lost cause.

Anastasia: I think he's too far-gone as well, so maybe we should just...leave him to his own devices.

Cinderella: Yes, I think that's probably our only option at this point.

King: I understand completely, and I will do my utmost to make absolutely sure they can do no further harm to any of us.

Cinderella: Thank you, Your Majesty. And thanks for coming back, Fairy Godmother.

Fairy Godmother: Of Course, Cinderella.

*Fairy Godmother fades away as Cinderella, Anastasia and the other royals continue on their way with Cinderella's animal friends bringing up the rear.*

True Love at Last[]

*The royals, along with Cinderella's animal friends, soon pull up outside the Palace and Cinderella, Anastasia and Kit walk back into the ballroom proudly holding hands as they receive a hero's welcome. Anastasia's hair and clothing are soon fixed up by the mice and birds before she rejoins the party. We then cross over to the cake-cutting ceremony. David the Baker presents the wedding cake to Cinderella and Kit and formally introduces himself to Anastasia*

Cinderella: Oh, hello, David. Wow, that cake looks AMAZING.

Kit: Anastasia, may I introduce you to David; David Clinton. He's been running a popular bakery in town for around...

David: ...Six years, now.

Kit: Ah, yes. And I honestly thought you two might want to share our First Dance.

Anastasia: Why, thank you, Kit.

Cinderella: Anything to make you feel welcome here, Anastasia.

David: Absolutely, Cinderella. And I'm not gonna lie; I was *very* worried for you when you ran away, because from what Cinderella's told me, you've also had a pretty hard time under your mother.

Anastasia: Yes, sadly I have.

Cinderella: But all of that is now firmly behind us.

Anastasia: Of course. It's a fresh start.

*As Cinderella and Kit cut the wedding cake, the first four slices are reserved for Cinderella, Kit, David and Anastasia. Cinderella has a taste of the first slice*

Cinderella: That's delicious.

Anastasia: Couldn't agree more. And this time, we will live even more happily ever after than you did BEFORE the hands of time were turned back!

Cinderella: I'm sure we will, Anastasia.

*After eating their slices of cake, Cinderella and Kit begin to dance as Anastasia and David do the same, while performing the final song 'True Love At Last'. Near the end of the song, Cinderella narrates the events following her marriage*

Cinderella:A dream is a wish your heart makes

When you're fast asleep

In dreams, you will lose your heartaches

Whatever you wish for, you keep

Have faith in your dreams and someday

Your rainbow will come smiling through

No matter how your heart is grieving,

If you keep on believing,

The dream that you wish will come true

When your heart believes

Wonders it will achieve

True love at last

Letting go of the past

You find your happily ever after

A future that’s full of laughter

Joy abounds

As love surrounds you…

True love at last

Letting go of the past

To seek your dreams Because you believed...

Cinderella: So, you may be wondering what happened after all of that. Well, let's get the rest of the Tremaine family out of the way first. Lady Tremaine and Drizella were both made into lowly servants and were confined to the castle cellars, although Drizella's sentence was only a short one. Lady Tremaine still refused to accept defeat and was now openly hostile towards everyone; even Drizella. Stripped of the power of Fairy Godmother's wand, all my stepmother had left was her hatred for all of us. After the guards had endured weeks of relentless verbal abuse from my stepmother, the King and I decided she should be exiled from the Kingdom, as it was now our only alternative. Lady Tremaine left the Kingdom in disgrace to await further punishment for her decades of scheming and cruelty, while her cat Lucifer was left to his own devices, as he too was a lost cause. Drizella, on the other hand, managed to escape that fate. The King and decided to set her free once she'd finished her brief sentence, and leave her to pursue her own destiny. I was a little reluctant to just leave Drizella alone for good, but I accepted her decision; I only wanted what was best for her.

*We fade to a montage of Anastasia's developing relationships with Cinderella and David*

Cinderella: On the lighter side of things, I allowed Anastasia to move into the Palace with me and appointed her as one of my Ladies-In-Waiting. She and David, the Baker she fell in love with during our wedding reception, started dating seriously after we left for our honeymoon, and their romance continued to blossom even after we returned. Anastasia helped me adapt to my new position as a Princess and plan our first royal banquet. We both started making some pretty big changes to life in the Royal Court, such as letting commoners into the Palace and keeping the curtains open more often. While the King and his caretaker Prudence were initially concerned about such drastic changes, they realized, soon enough that life in the Palace needed brightening up a little. Eventually, David was offered a position in the Palace kitchen, which he gladly accepted, and he even PROPOSED to Anastasia!

*We fade to a montage of Anastasia and David's wedding, which also serves as Cinderella's first wedding anniversary*

Kit: And what happened after that?

Cinderella: Well, around a year after Lady Tremaine's change of events, Anastasia and David FINALLY became married, and it just so happened to coincide with OUR first wedding anniversary. We had finally become a close family of heroes destined for a much happier life.

*Cinderella, Anastasia, Kit and David begin singing the end of 'True Love at Last'*

Cinderella:Once upon a time there lived a young maiden, who went to a ball...

Kit:A prince who fell in love…

Anastasia:And a sister, who found that happiness...

Cinderella & Anastasia:...Was right there for her all along!

Everyone:No matter how your heart is grieving,

If you keep on believing,

The dream that you wish will come true

*As Cinderella and Anastasia's combined wedding reception and anniversary continues, we fade into Cinderella and Kit standing on one of the Palace balconies 18 months after Lady Tremaine's change of events, dressed in their outfits seen during the 'Perfectly Perfect' scene during the beginning of the film.*

Cinderella: And so here we are, 18 months later; at long, long last, the TRUE happily ever after!

Kit: The threat of Lady Tremaine has long since been brought to justice.

Cinderella: And her two misguided daughters have been set free from her clutches.

Kit: Anastasia has found and married her true love.

Cinderella: And since then, the four of us have grown ever closer. Our combined kindness and courage have finally paid off, and peace, and love, and happiness have finally been restored to this powerful but humble Kingdom.

Kit: Thanks for letting us share this wonderful story with you.

Cinderella: Goodbye, everyone, and thank you for watching!

*Cinderella and Kit wave to the audience as the camera slowly zooms out to show the Palace still shining gloriously in the night, amid a backdrop of a blue and purple starry sky*
