Valkyrie is a character who appears in the Marvel Comics animated series The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. She is the leader of the Valkyrior on Konurlifandi.
This version of the mythological Brunnhilde was created by Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, Steve Englehart and Sal Buscema.
Background[]
Brunnhilde has a particular disdain for men, and when Thor arrived in the Valkyrie training camp, she believed that he arrived to assert his dominance against Sif, so she took the Sword of Surtur and ordered him and the Warriors Three to be executed. Her tune quickly changed when the Frost Giants attacked and were stopped by Sif, Thor, and the Warriors Three, and decided to return the sword to them.
Trivia[]
- In the comics, Valkyrie becomes a heroine on Midgard, and joins the team known as the Defenders. She is one of many of Thor's love interests.
