"Vee's Surprise Party" is the first segment of the third episode of Vampirina. It premiered on October 2, 2017 alongside "Vee Goes Viral".

Synopsis[]

Vee invites her class over for a party full of spooky surprises.

Plot[]

Demi is placing envelopes in different mailboxes until a cat scares him back to the Scare B&B. He tells Oxana and Boris that he barely survived a monster attack, and he describes the attack. Gregoria assumes that it was like Bridget's cat. Demi says that he sent the party invitations to all of Vampirina's friends. Oxana assumes that Vee will going to scream at her surprise party, as she loved them so much back in Romania. She then quickly sees her family before going to school.

There, Bridget and Poppy reveal that they both got the invitation for Vampirina's surprise party tonight, but they decide to keep it a secret, or it won't be a surprise. Vampirina then appears, and Bridget and Poppy head into the school to keep the party a secret. However, Vampirina catches up with them, and wonders what the secret is. Bridget and Poppy tell her to stop doing that.

In class, Vampirina quickly appears, and Poppy compliments it. She says that she can't wait for the surprise party. It was her idea, and if it's her surprise party, she is the one who is supposed to get surprised. She mentions that vampire surprise parties are different than human surprise parties, as they're all about the host surprising the guests. She thinks she is pretty good at it, and mentions that back in Romania, everyone loved the vampires' surprise parties.

Poppy then arrives at the Scare B&B with Vampirina, but Gregoria trips and drops the bouncy balls painted like eyes. Demi is testing the right sound effects until he picks the creepy music. Vampirina mentions that back in Transylvania, her surprise parties were the best in town, and then sings a song about her guests getting a Transylvanian surprise. Poppy states that she loves the spooky stuff, but suggests Vampirina starts out a little less surprising. Just then, the guests arrive, and everyone quickly prepares.

Poppy then greets the guests, who are then scared by the sudden appearance of Vampirina. Edgar has his camera in case there's anything spooky or surprising. Vampirina the opens the closet where Oxana appears and scares everyone. She states that the party is fabulous. Vampirina states that they go out when throwing a party. Boris then appears as a mummy to scare everyone away. Demi and Wolfie then chase the guests out the other way. It is then revealed that the guests ran away, although the party is not over yet. Things get worse when Oxana offers a goodie bag with a moving hand. Later, Vampirina is told by Gregoria and Demi that the kids were too surprised. She then admits that she should have listened to Poppy. Vampirina wanted to have a fun party with her friends, but forgot that vampires and humans don't always do things the same way. In the Scare B&B, Boris places the mummy in the attic while he serves Vampirina and Poppy a blood orange cake, to which they reject. Boris decides to have a slice, and states that a full stomach will help him figure out how to make Vampirina feel better.

Edgar then appears, stating that he was never scared as the creepy stuff was fake. Besides, he was never that scared. This gives Poppy an idea. Shen then meets with Vampirina and Wolfie, with the former stating that she wants to fit in with the other kids and do things the human way, but she doesn't want to lose her favorite Transylvanian traditions either. Poppy tells her to give the other kids some time to get used to the new stuff. Vampirina thanks her for that, and the two decide to have some cake.

There, they are surprised by the guests. Poppy states that they wanted to show everyone a video. The guests tell everything they like about Vampirina. She tells Bridget and Poppy that the guests like her. Poppy, Bridget, and Vampirina then hug before the guests pop out of a couch to surprise Vampirina again. It was all Poppy's idea. Edgar showed that the surprises were just costumes and pretend. Poppy states that a friend's job is to make you feel special at your party, no matter what. Bridget states that the guests can handle a few spooks and surprises, even if it means making Vampirina happy. Vampirina states that she is happy to be in Transylvania, and apologizes to everyone for scaring them. Edgar says that he wasn't scared, although a recording of him shows that he is scared, a little. The guests then show Vampirina how they they throw parties in Pennsylvania. They then dance to the music. During this, Vampirina tells Bridget that if she told everyone when her next party was going to be, it wouldn't be a surprise.
