"Vee and the Family Stone" is the first segment of the sixty-fifth episode of Vampirina. It is the first half of the fifteenth episode in the third season. It premiered on October 23, 2020.
Synopsis[]
The Hauntleys are asked to walk the bat walk in Medusa's fashion show.
Plot[]
The Black Cat Express arrives with a letter from Transylvania. Vampirina sees it is for Gregoria, who checks it to see it is an invitation from Medusa. Demi mentions who she is, and Vampirina states that she decides what styles and patterns should go on all of Transylvania's fanciest clothing. Poppy likes it, and Gregoria mentions that she used to model for Medusa on the batwalk. Vampirina mentions what a batwalk does, and Gregoria recaps that walking the batwalk wasn't as fun as she hoped, due to the hat she had to wear by Medusa. Gregoria, Vampirina, and Poppy mention what their styles are when Oxana and Boris arrive and are told about Medusa wanting Gregoria to see her next fashion show. Gregoria refuses to go, but after Demi, Oxana, and Boris show their batwalks, Vampirina decides for them to go, and Gregoria accepts.
At Spookleton Castle, the Hauntleys arrive at the fashion show, and Medusa arrives while wearing her signature indoor sunglasses, which protects people from her magical, stone-cold looks. Medusa is glad to see Gregoria, who recaps it's been so long since she's seen her. The Hauntleys introduce themselves, and Medusa states that the key to great designs is all about showing the monster world who one is. Vampirina likes it and also shows the world who she is by her very own bat-tastic style. Medusa likes the Hauntleys' style and offers them to be the models who show off her new fall look, to which they accept.
Gregoria tells Vampirina that her job is to show off Medusa's style. Medusa states that the hat she made Gregoria wear was from her Frights and Frills collection, and she should have made her wear stone. Vampirina knows that Medusa has changed, and the Hauntleys then get styled in stone. The Hauntleys don't like it, but Gregoria tells them they look amazing. First up is Boris, but while doing the batwalk, he breaks a part of the floor.
Later, Gregoria tells the Hauntleys they did great, although their first dress rehearsal was rocky. Vampirina, Demi, and Poppy don't like when they're made of stone, as it's not the Hauntleys' style. Gregoria apologizes and has a chat with Medusa about it. Medusa only wanted Gregoria to feel proud and fangtabulous. Vampirina tells Medusa that everyone should be able to dress in any style they like, and Medusa agrees. The Hauntleys look good when they feel good, and Vampirina and Poppy decide for the Hauntleys to pick out clothes from Medusa's collection that fit who they really are as monsters and humans, to which Medusa agrees. The Hauntleys are soon in their normal clothes and pick styles that fit who they are. The fashion show then begins, and Gregoria is glad she got a second chance to walk the batwalk. Everyone likes the Hauntleys' styles, and Medusa tells them that her collection is a hit thanks to them. Vampirina follows up by stating that being yourself is always in fashion.
