Veronica Kiley is a character who appears in the 2018 Disney adaptation of A Wrinkle in Time.

Veronica is a teenage girl whom Meg meets at school. Since the It's negativity, Veronica began to bully Meg in a rude manner, such as the case of writing rude comments on a sticky note on her locker as well as obnoxiously saying a comment about her father. After she was hit by the ball at school, Veronica's parents became worried for their daughter's safety. However, after the It was wiped out from the universe, she no longer bullies Meg in the aftermath like she used to in the past.
Role in the film[]
Veronica and a group of other girls are first seen approaching Meg, sarcastically greeting her, only for Meg to ignore Veronica. Just as Veronica and the other girls walk away, Meg rips off the note that Veronica placed on her locker due to the note containing a mean comment about Meg. Later during a physical education class, Veronica approaches Meg, telling her that something crazy runs in her family after seeing why her father left, insulting Meg as she reacts furiously to her. In revenge, Meg tosses a basketball at Veronica, injuring her and resulting Meg to be sent to the Principal's office. After Meg returns home after a conversation with Principal Jenkins, Meg's mother tells her daughter to write an apology letter to Veronica as well writing one to the Principal for the actions she did earlier.
Veronica later spies on the Meg and Calvin via window, as Meg tells Calvin that she might ruin his reputation, which the latter tells Meg to ignore just as Veronica closes the window while overhearing the conversation. In a vision sequence showcasing a montage of the It's negativity being spread across the universe, Veronica reads a fashion magazine and stands on a scale, hugging herself. At the end of the film, the It's negativity was wiped out, thanks to Meg's heroic actions to save her father as well as saving Charles Wallace. As a result, Veronica stares at Meg via window where she no longer harasses Meg like she used to in the past as she stares upon Meg, her father, and Calvin, just as Veronica kindly waves at Meg just before she enters her family's house.

- Veronica only appears in the 2018 adaptation of A Wrinkle in Time and does not appear in the 2003 adaptation nor in the original novel.
- Despite her minor role, Veronica's actress, Rowan Blanchard, was credited in the starring cast of the film in the end credits.
