Vic is a character who appears in the 2023 Disney film Haunted Mansion. He is a tour guide who entertains guests who visit Crump Manor.
Background[]
Vic serves as a tour guide who is shown to give tours in New Orleans in Louisiana, particularly around Crump Manor, dedicated to Alistair Crump, aka the Hatbox Ghost. He often volunteers to be the tour guide whenever Pat asks someone if an exhibit is placed in a glass box such as the case when Ben Matthias curiously asks Pat of why the replica of the comb that Crump used before his death is placed in it. Not much of his personality is known other than appearing in only one scene.
Role in the film[]
Vic only appears during the part where Ben Matthias, Father Kent, and Travis explore Crump Manor, a historical site dedicated to Alistair Crump, the Hatbox Ghost. During the tour, when Pat offers Ben to be the tour guide, Vic interrupts the tour, distracting the tourists and telling them about Crump's fate that happened recently. As he introduces himself to the tourists, he explains that he is an entertainment tour guide and stage and screen veteran who tells them that there are many more stories other than Crump's, telling them to follow him into another room of entertainment. Vic entertains the guests with his piano-playing skills, telling the visitors not to sing along just as Ben, Kent, and Travis, arrive at the basement to find more evidence about Crump. He does not appear again afterwards.

- Despite his small amount of screen time, Vic's actor, Daniel Levy, was listed in the starring cast in the opening of the film.
- The song that Vic plays on the piano while entertaining the guests is an instrumental version of "It's a Small World" from the Disney Parks attraction of the same name.
