"Vows" is the twenty-first episode of Gargoyles, and the sixteenth single-part episode of the series. It aired on September 14, 1995.

Plot

During Xanatos and Fox's wedding, Goliath who was asked to be the best man is attacked by Demona wielding another magical artifact; the Phoenix Gate, which she uses to send herself, Goliath, Xanatos, Fox and Xanatos' father Petros back in time to Castle Wyvern, where Demona hopes to convince her younger self to betray her mate Goliath and change the future.

Trivia

• Xanatos proves himself a self-made billionaire. Using his illuminati membership and time travel, he was able to send a coin from the 10th century to himself in the 20th with a secondary letter telling him how to set up the events, creating a time loop.
