William Earl Brown is an American character actor, filmmaker, and musician. He has appeared in various film and television shows, such as Wes Craven's New Nightmare, Vampire in Brooklyn, Scream, Being John Malkovich, Vanilla Sky, The Sessions, Knights of Badassdom, Black Mass, Seinfeld, Chicago Hope, NYPD Blue, Angel, CSI, Charmed, The X-Files, Deadwood, Bates Motel, Longmire, Archer, and Preacher. He is also known for playing Bill in The Last of Us.
For Disney, he played Mustached Ranger in The Lone Ranger, Taanti in The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett, and voiced Lord Doom in The Ghost and Molly McGee. He also appeared in the Touchstone Pictures films The Last Shot as Willie Gratzo and The Alamo as David Burnet. He also played Sonny in Smart Guy and Herb Cramer in the ABC series Grey's Anatomy. Additionally, he starred in the 20th Century Fox film Rookie of the Year as Billy Frick and the Fox Searchlight film Wild as Frank.
