Disney's Wake Up in the Wild Room is a British Saturday-morning Disney program/block that aired on ITV on the GMTV breakfast stand (which at the time, was 25% owned by The Walt Disney Company) produced by Buena Vista Productions UK (later known as Walt Disney Productions UK).

The program aired from April 13, 1996 until March 7, 1998, when it merged with Sunday-morning block The Disney Club to form Diggit.

Concept[]

Wake Up in the Wild Room was a combination of a Saturday-morning Cartoon block and a Children's Game Show, with the Cartoons airing in-between the game show. Cartoons included the likes of The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and Quack Pack.

The Game Show portion was presented by popular children's presenter Dave Benson Phillips (Who would later present on Disney Channel on a preschool strand, which would eventually become the UK version of Playhouse Disney), and took place in a large house, where the games were played in 4 different rooms. They often included lots of gunge (which was typical of other British Kids' Game Shows at the time) and oversized objects.
