Walt Disney's Giant Book of Fairy Tales is an illustrated hardcover children's book published by Purnell in October 1973.
The book contains thirty-six fairy tales, including ones based on the films Pinocchio, Peter and the Wolf, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty. It also includes stories that were yet to be adapted into animated movies over the course of thirty-seven years. Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Rapunzel, The Steadfast Tin Soldier, The Little Matchgirl, and The Frog Prince, featuring characters from different Disney films and shorts.
