Waltograph is a freeware typeface based on the lettering of the Walt Disney logotype. Assumptions occurring, this typeface is not based on the actual handwriting of Walt Disney but a stylized version of his autograph, extrapolated from the corporate logotype of the Walt Disney Company (TWDC). Initialized in 1985, it was publicly released in 2000 with continuous updates until the eventual name of Waltograph in 2004.

Reception[]

  1. The unofficial project, neither affiliated with nor endorsed by TWDC, has been used by TWDC frequently.[1]
  2. One writer remarked, "When Mickey Mouse sits down to tap out his memoirs, the title page will be set in Waltograph."[2] Like Comic Sans, Waltograph gets rave reviews from most audiences.[3][4]
