Warren Evan Spector is an American role-playing game designer and video game designer, director, writer, producer, and production designer. He is known for creating in all his games choices for the player with the tools that are available in the gameplay simulation. For Disney, he is known for creating the Epic Mickey video game series.
Epic Mickey was Spector's very first project with Disney Interactive. It was a Steampunk title designed exclusively for the Nintendo Wii, and released in 2010. A sequel to the game titled Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two was released in 2012 for the Nintendo Wii, Wii U, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Microsoft Windows, and PlayStation Vita.
Between the release of the Epic Mickey games, Spector also wrote the DuckTales comic serial "Rightful Owners" for Boom! Studios in 2011. Contrary to his name being listed in the writer credits for "Dangerous Currency", he did not actually co-write or even see a script for that story arc.
In 2013, it was announced that Warren Spector had left Disney Interactive following the closure of Junction Point Studios in January 2013.
