"Weekly Normalness" is the first segment of the fifty-first episode of Vampirina. It is the first segment of the first episode of the third season. It premiered on October 5, 2020 alongside "Vampire's Luck".
Synopsis[]
When Edgar struggles with his new blog for the world wide cobweb, Vee, Gregoria, and Demi help him come up with an idea.
Plot[]
Edgar welcomes everyone to the latest episode of Weekly Weirdness. He finally solved the mystery of the haunted house next door, and that it isn't haunted at all. Demi reassures the statement, and Vampirina tells him that he can't be the one saying the house isn't haunted, as he is haunting it. Poppy assumes that's a wrap on the show, and Edgar decides to edit out the ghost. Vampirina thanks him for keeping their secret. Edgar is sad that he can't post any of the weird stuff that goes on in the Scare B&B on his web show.
Luckily, Vampirina knows a place where Edgar can share monster videos: the worldwide cobweb, which is the internet for monsters. Vampirina, Demi, and Gregoria then show him the different websites for monsters. Vampirina and Poppy reassure Edgar that he can do his web show for actual monsters. This excites Edgar, as he can make monster friends for all around the world. Later, the Hauntleys watch the first episode of Weekly Weirdness for Monsters. He takes them into the weird lives of his neighbors, who are actually monsters. First, Boris sleeps upside down, and Edgar then arrives, stating that nobody on the worldwide cobweb likes his new Weekly Weirdness episode. Edgar decides to up the weirdness for the videos to be a hit.
Vampirina tells Demi that Weekly Weirdness is what Edgar does best, and doesn't want him to change his whole styles. Poppy suggests for them to see exactly what he has in mind. Edgar is preparing for his next episodes, and Vampirina and Poppy decide to help. Edgar then films The Secret Life of Wolfie. Vampirina decides to let Edgar be himself. Edgar then records Wolfie eating its lunch, Demi's makeup routine, and cooking scrambled eggs with Chef Remy Bones, which are actually dragon eggs. However, no one on the worldwide cobweb likes those videos, either. Gregoria tells Edgar that he's posting stuff that monsters are already familiar with. Vampirina mentions that what's exciting and weird to humans is pretty common to monsters. She suggests making a show about human life, to which Edgar agrees, as he thinks of it as a Weekly Normalness web show. Vampirina and Poppy decide to help.
Edgar then gets his costume ready, and welcomes everyone to Edgar Peepleson's Life. He takes off his costume, and he worries about his life not being interesting enough for a web show. Vampirina tells him to be himself, and it'll work. Later, Vampirina introduces a day in the life of Edgar Peepleson. First, he eats frozen yogurt, and mentions what he likes, to which he calls the Edgarnator. Next is cat-sitting for Bridget. Edgar always wanted to know what Miss Cuddle Cakes is thinking, but he has nothing. After that is Edgar showing his different socks and mentioning that he likes to wear those that don't match. However, Edgar is demotivated, as he thinks the films were boring. He wanted to be friends with monsters, but he'll never be interesting enough for them to like him.
So, Vampirina and Poppy decide to scream up something great. Later, they provide a surprise for Edgar: a video of him which Demi and Gregoria helped Vampirina and Poppy post from yesterday, and it was a hit. Vampirina tells Edgar that what might seem normal for him is new and different for someone else. Poppy tells Edgar how cool he though Vampirina was when she first moved in, and they had to show the monster world what's different about Edgar. Vampirina mentions that the things Edgar does make him weird and wonderful. Edgar decides to do more shows for the worldwide cobweb if Vampirina hosts the shows with him, to which she accepts. They change the name of the show back to Weekly Weirdness, because what's normal to Edgar is weird to monsters, before Edgar answers his fan mail. Later, the mail gets delivered to Edgar and flies around him, to which he and Vampirina love.
