"Welcome to Amphibia" is a version of the opening theme song from Amphibia, but with lyrics. An instrumental version of the song plays in the beginning of each episode within the series.
Lyrics[]
Now I find myself
In the wild unknown
With the frogs and toads
And I'm far from home
But there's so much here to discover
One leap after another
Hop into the adventure
Gotta ribbit, ribbit
Jump on in it
Welcome to Amphibia
Life don't get much crazier
When you're a normal girl
Living in another world
What you gonna do?
You gotta ribbit, ribbit
Jump on in it
Welcome to Amphibia
Life don't get much crazier
So ribbit, ribbit live it in
Amphibia
I showed up here in the swamp
With all these nasty weird toad dudes
Their boss, Grime, threw me in jail
With only bugs for food
But then I helped fight these monster herons
And taught Grime to be a charmer
I gave up despairing
'Cause Grime made me lieutenant with this dope armor
I trained the toad army
I overworked them 'til they cry
Every morning, I would teach them tai chi
And do frog jumps 'til it hurt
All the toads adored me
We even made these custom t-shirts
I got my own palace
With this much improved cuisine
Now the toads all treat me like their queen
Woke up in Newtopia
Where I fell down a flight of stairs
Broke my leg, but luckily
The newts had free public healthcare
So I became a loyal ranger
And I fought this creepy cult
Kept folks out of danger
Slaying this killer cobra with a catapult
I lived on a warship
And became a flipwart champion
Soon I was a king's trusted advisor
I studied salamander brains
Tried bug appetizers (yum)
And for fun DM'd some campaigns
Okay, if you wanna pick up the longsword, I need you to roll for a strength check because your character is like a little wood elf and uh... This'll be fun eventually, guys, trust me!
I love it in Amphibia
So much adventure still to see
Hope nothing ever bad happens to me

Trivia[]
- A slightly different version of the song without the lyrics and a different instrumental theme was shown when the intro was first revealed at the 2018 San Diego Comic-Con. It is still used for some promotional material.
- Three Theme Song Takeover versions exist. The first was released on August 3, 2020. Unlike the previous theme song takeovers, this was not sung by any of the cast, but instead was rearranged in the form of an 8-bit video game intro, with the basic set up being Sprig and Anne playing a game on the latter's phone. The second was released January 10, 2021 that was more in line with the series. This focused on Sasha, how she arrived in Amphibia and took place during the first season, as she is still with the toad army and does not have her facial scar. The Third was released on September 30, 2021, this time with Marcy as it shows how she came to Amphibia.
- During Marcy's theme song takeover, she sings the lyric "I fell down a flight of stairs". If you listen closely, Marcy's voice actress, Haley Tju can be heard giggling at the line. Additionally, the scene has become a meme on YouTube.
- In the same takeover, the line "Hope nothing bad ever happens to me" becomes in-universe foreshadowing toward her fate in Amphibia following Andrias' takeover: Getting fatally stabbed before being revived prior to becoming a human host for the Core.
- Marcy's version premiered on Disney Channel 2 days after it was uploaded online, which was on the same day the third season premiered.
- A Halloween version of the theme appeared in "The Shut-In!".
- Following the season two finale, Disney Channel unveiled the season three intro which features many of the same beats from the first two seasons, but with new visuals and situations to represent the new status of the characters. Anne is back home with her parents and the Plantars in tow and now must protect them from government agents. New human characters are introduced and Anne is shown fighting Newtopian robots with her powers. Sasha and Grime are now leading the citizens of Wartwood and Andrias has Marcy alive but her body in stasis. The theme now has an electronic sound to it as well.
- The series third season’s intro was released before airing.
- The song makes an appearance in the episode "Thai Feud" with Nate dancing to it.
- The episode "Hollywood Hop Pop" replaces the shot of Marcy in stasis with Darcy (the Core's possessed form of Marcy).
- A Christmas version of the theme appeared in "Froggy Little Christmas".
- The lyrics "gotta ribbit, ribbit jump on it" appear on Sprig's bulletin in "The Hardest Thing".
- The opening sequences have scenes that foreshadow important events of the show:
- Season One: Anne opening the Calamity Box with Sasha and Marcy that teleports them to Amphibia with Anne finding herself in Wartwood in "Anne or Beast?", Anne living with the Plantars, Anne and Sprig going on adventures and their encounters with dangerous wildlife, Anne and Sprig facing against Mudmen in "Anne Vs. Wild", Anne reuniting with Sasha and fighting her on Toad Tower in "Reunion".
- Season Two: Anne and Sasha's continued conflict, and the revelation in "True Colors" of how Marcy purposely got herself, Anne, and Sasha trapped in Amphibia.
- Season Three: Anne and the Plantars getting transported to Earth, Anne reuniting with her parents and the Plantars living with them in "The New Normal"; Anne and the Plantars' adventures throughout the city; Anne and the Plantars being hunted by the Cloak-Bot; Anne and the Plantars breaking into the Museum of Natural History in "Fight at the Museum"; Anne and the Plantars being hunted by Mr. X, Jenny and the FBI in "Mr. X", "Hollywood Hop Pop" and "Escape to Amphibia"; the Thai Temple being attacked in "Temple Frogs"; Sasha and Captain Grime protecting Wartwood, fighting the Giant Frobot and forming the rebellion in "Turning Point"; Anne's parents and allies, along with Mr. X and Jenny; King Andrias' incoming invasion; Marcy being possessed by the Core in "Olivia & Yunan"; and Anne using her Calamity powers to fight Andrias' invasion in "All In".
