Werewolf by Night (real name Jack Russell) is a character from the Ultimate Spider-Man Halloween special "Blade and the Howling Commandos".

Physical Appearance

Werewolf by Night is a muscular man covered in hair. True to his name, he has several wolf-like characteristics, such as sharp canine teeth and claws, canine nose, pointed ears, eyes with yellow irises, and a strong sense of smell and hearing similar to a wolf. He is seen wearing S.H.I.E.L.D. shoulder pads and pants along with a belt.

History

His origin as well as when he joined S.H.I.E.L.D. is unknown. What we do know is he and Blade were team members in the Howling Commandos. However, an incident earlier than the team-up with Spider-Man caused a rift between him and Blade. He teamed up with Spider-Man in Blade and the Howling Commandos to fight Dracula and stop the Living Mummy from using the Unk.
