"West o' the Wide Missouri" is the eighth song of the 1968 Disney film, The One and Only, Genuine, Original Family Band which was written by the Academy Award-winning songwriting team of the Sherman Brothers. The song was performed by Joe Carder (John Davidson), Katie (Janet Blair), Alice (Lesley Ann Warren), Grandpa (Walter Brennan) and Calvin (Buddy Ebsen).
