"When Can I See You Again?" is one of the 3 theme songs from Disney's 2012 animated feature film, Wreck-It Ralph. It is an uptempo dance-pop and synthpop song written and performed by Owl City.

The song is played during the credits showing Ralph, Felix, Vanellope, and Calhoun's game-jumping adventures.

The song is the main theme of the Paint the Night parade at Disneyland and Hong Kong Disneyland, and is played at the end of Move It! Shake It! Dance and Play It!.

Lyrics[]

When can we do this again?
When can I see you again?
When can we do this again?
When can I see you again?
When can we do this again?
When can I see you again?

Switch on the sky and the stars glow for you
Go see the world 'cause it's all so brand new
Don't close your eyes 'cause your future's ready to shine
It's just a matter of time, before we learn how to fly
Welcome to the rhythm of the night
There's something in the air you can't deny (Deny)

It's been fun but now I've got to go
Life is way too short to take it slow
But before I go and hit the road
I gotta know, till then,
When can we do this again?
Oh oh oh oh
When can I see you again?
Oh oh oh oh
When can we do this again?
Oh oh oh oh
I gotta know, (I gotta know)
When can I see you again?
(When can I see you again?)

Joined at the hip, yeah your sidekick needs you
Life is a trip down the road that leads you
Look all around at all the mountains you haven't climbed
It's just a matter of time, before we learn how to fly
Welcome to the rhythm of the night
There's something in the air you can't deny (Deny)

It's been fun but now I've got to go
Life is way too short to take it slow
But before I go and hit the road (You know)
I gotta know, 'til then,
When can we do this again?
Oh oh oh oh
When can I see you again?
Oh oh oh oh
When can we do this again?
Oh oh oh oh
I gotta know, (I gotta know)
When can I see you again?

Don't close your eyes 'cause your future's ready to shine
It's just a matter of time before we learn how to fly
Welcome to the rhythm of the night
There's something in the air you can't deny
So let me know before I wave goodbye

When can I see you again?
Oh oh oh oh
When can we do this again?
Oh oh oh oh
When can I see you again?
Oh oh oh oh
When can we do this again?
Oh oh oh oh

Yeah, it's been fun but now I've got to go
Life is way too short to take it slow
B-b-but before I go and hit the road
Tell me when
When can I see you again?

When can I see you again? (Tell me when)
When can I see you again?

Switch on the sky and the stars glow for you
Go see the world 'cause it's all so brand new
Don't close your eyes 'cause your future's ready to shine
It's just a matter of time, before we learn how to fly
Welcome to the rhythm of the night
There's something in the air you can't deny (Deny)

Put your hands up 'cause the night is young
Kick your heels up when you join the fun
And as the magic sets us all aglow
I gotta know, my friends
When can we do this again?

Oh oh oh oh
I never want this to end
Oh oh oh oh
When can we do this again?
Oh oh oh oh
I gotta know...
When can we do this again?

(repeat verse above)

When can we do this again?
I never want this to end
When can we do this again?

When can we do this again?

Trivia[]

  • The song serves as the theme music (alongside "Baroque Hoedown") to the Paint the Night Parade at Hong Kong Disneyland and Disneyland. The Disneyland version premiered on May 22, 2015, fully in English, with the opening segment using newly recorded vocals by Young. Both versions used revised lyrics to better fit the parade setting.
    • The song also appears at the end of the Move it! Shake it! Dance and Play it! street party at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom.
  • The song can be heard in the background as Minnie Mouse shows off her fashion style in the ABC television special Mickey's 90th Spectacular.
  • There's a Spanish version of the song called "¿Cuándo te volveré a ver?" (translated as "When will I see you again?" in Spanish) made by the Spanish boyband Auryn. It was used in Spain.
