"When Everything Falls Apart" is a deleted song from the Broadway adaption of Frozen sung by Olaf (Greg Hildreth), with Kristoff (Jelani Alladin) and Anna (Patti Murin). While the song was performed during the Denver tryouts in 2017, it was ultimately cut before the show's debut on Broadway in 2018, replaced by a reprise of "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?".
The song took place shortly after the trio leave Elsa's Ice Palace and fall off a cliff, resulting in Olaf landing in pieces. During the song, Kristoff notices that Anna's hair is turning white (as result of being struck by Elsa's ice magic) and suggests that the Hidden Folk might be able to help.
Despite being cut before the show's Broadway debut, the song was recorded and released as part of the Original Broadway cast album.
The song had an immediate encore, which was sung by the characters as they shuffled from one wing to the other, insinuating that they originally left stage in the wrong direction. This encore does not feature on the cast album.

Olaf:
There are times in my life
When I am neither here nor there
And I'm a little in a muddle
Cause my middle's rolled somewhere
Sometimes one arm has flown off
And another's in the grass
And I've one foot in my mouth
And another in my a...bdomen
When everything falls apart
And I'm as broken as can be
I don't get devastated when decapitated
No, it just helps me see differently
Yes, when everything falls apart
And the winds of fate seem cruel
What I'm most afraid of shows me what I'm made of
Which turn out to be pretty cool
When I'm scattered 'cause I'm shattered
And I'm good for who knows what
I know I'll always catch a break
As sure as I can catch my butt
Kristoff: Whoops!
Anna: There it goes!
Olaf:
Throw me!
When everything falls apart
And it's an awful, awful day
To sum up my thesis: when I fall to pieces
It's a chance to look around and say
I'm gonna pull myself together in a better way!
Anna: That's great, Olaf. But what about Arendelle? I can't go back there with the weather like this. How do I defend Elsa to them? I can't let my people down, but-
Kristoff:
Hey, hey, hey...
When everything falls apart
And all your wits are at their end
Yes, in the midst of stressing, there's a hidden blessing
Olaf: You can be depressing with a friend
Kristoff:
When a reindeer herder finds a reindeer
Left behind to die
The herder saves the reindeer's life
And the deer makes him a better guy
Anna: Aww.
Olaf: I'm gonna cry.
Kristoff:
When everything falls apart
It's just the world reshuffling
(Olaf: Shuffling!)
Kristoff: It can lead to more, friends
Olaf: Maybe three or four friends
Anna: And all the good that can bring
All: When things fall apart
Anna: Don't worry about a thing
Kristoff: Except, maybe worry about your hair?
Anna: What? I just fell off a cliff. You should see your hair.
Kristoff: No, yours is turning white!
Anna: White? It's what?! Does it look bad?
[pause]
Kristoff: No.
Olaf: You hesitated.
Kristoff: No, I didn't!
Olaf: You did hesitate.
Kristoff:
Not in that way. It's because your sister struck you, isn't it?
Wait, I have an idea:
There's some friends out in the woods I know
They'll tell us what to do
Anna: Why would you stay out here and risk your life?
Olaf: Because we care about you.
Anna: You do?
Olaf & Kristoff: We do!
Anna: Huh, that's new.
Kristoff: When everything's going bad
(Olaf: Oh, so bad!)
Anna: And you don't know where to start
All:
It's looking grim, it's true. But I've got you and you
And that's enough to warm my heart
Anna: 'Till the next time...
Kristoff: 'Till the next time...
Olaf: 'Till the next time...
All: When everything falls apart!
When everything falls apart
And you’re going the wrong way
Give yourself a break, correct your dumb mistake
Carry on, hip hip hooray!
Olaf:

Olaf: Hey, hey, hey! Calm down my friend. Listen, I’ve existed for... twenty-seven hours. So take it from me:
When everything falls apart
And all your wits are at their end
Yes, in the midst of stressing, there’s a hidden blessing
You can be depressing with a friend
Kristoff:
When a herder finds a reindeer
Who is struggling and hurt
That hurt leads to a friendship
And that deer moves into the herder’s yurt!
Olaf and Kristoff: When everything falls apart

(Olaf: Shuffling!)
Kristoff: It can lead to more, friends
