"When the Saints Go Marching In" is a traditional black spiritual song that was partially featured in the 2003 film The Haunted Mansion, based on the Disney theme park attraction of the same name, which is sung at the end of the film by the Singing Busts placed on the back of the Evers family's car driving on the highway, much to Jim Evers feeling uncomfortable of their singing. It was also performed by Herbie the One-Octopus Band in The Muppet Show episode 411, and by Hal Linden and the Electric Mayhem in episode 517. Marvin Suggs plays the song on the Muppaphone in The Muppets (2015) episode "Because... Love".
It is often played by jazz bands and has been recorded by many artists, including Louis Armstrong, who famously performed it on May 13, 1938. The song expresses the hope of being among the saints who will enter heaven when the end of the world comes.
