Where's My Dad? is a song from the Disney's Animal Kingdom attraction, Finding Nemo: The Musical.
Background[]
The song is first heard during the part where Nemo is brought to the P. Sherman's office in Sydney Harbour where he feels uncomfortable in living without his father Marlin just as he sings in solo after missing his father. A first reprise of the song titled "Not My Dad" is heard where Nemo tells Gill that he apologizes to him for ruining his plan to help him and the Tank Gang escape the dentist's fish tank while Nemo explains that he was unable to place a pebble to jam the filter to which Gill explains that there are other ways to help him and the other fish escape the tank, just as Gill thinks that Nemo's father Marlin is on his way to which Nemo loses faith in himself that his father would never come. Later in the musical, a second reprise of the song titled "That's My Dad" is heard where Nigel recaps the story of how Marlin has been overcoming several challenges across the ocean looking for his missing son just as Nemo fills himself with joy hoping that his father would return.
