"Who's Afraid of Mordros the Annihilator?" is the fiftieth episode of the Disney Channel animated series Hamster & Gretel, and is the season two finale. It is also the latest and possibly final episode in the series.
Synopsis[]
Mordros arrives and reveals his evil plan to destroy mankind. Gretel is more alone than ever, and she and Hiromi must work together to defeat Mordros.
Plot[]
Part One[]
Continuing from where the previous episode left off, Mordros begins his assault on Earth by attacking the Tri-State Space Agency Headquarters. Just as Kevin, Hiromi, Hamster, and Gretel prepare for the battle, the superpower-granting aliens beam them into their spacecraft and explain to them that Mordros has destroyed their planet many years ago and that granting Hamster and Gretel superpowers was their only hope at defeating him. However, they then claim that due to Kevin and Hiromi's requited love for each other, their chances at defeating Mordros are slim. Meanwhile, Fred and Bailey investigate why Mordros chose the space headquarters by researching information about him.
After introducing himself as a force not to be reckoned with, Mordros continues with his plan by drilling to the center of the Earth, plotting to turn the human race into chinchillas. As Fred and Bailey emerge from a top-secret building with information regarding Mordros' true identity, they are turned into chinchillas after being struck with a ray from the drill. Gretel then attempts to shield Kevin, Hiromi, and Hamster using her force field powers, only for Mordros to destroy her force field; Kevin is subsequently turned into a chinchilla as well after shielding Gretel from the same drill. Retreating to their lair at Hamster's behest, the heroes are left puzzled as to how they will return Kevin, Fred, and Bailey to their human forms and defeat Mordros. Hiromi suggests that destroying the drill will resolve the issue, but Gretel, still angry with Hiromi for her interview stunt, instead goes to Lauren for answers.
When Lauren confronts Mordros as The Destructress, she tricks him into believing that she has defeated Hamster and Gretel as part of a plan for them to sneak onto his ship and destroy his drill. However, Mordros catches on and explains to the heroes via hologram that they have triggered his anti-hero defense system, which gradually strips them of their superpowers.
Part Two[]
Learning of his sister's situation, FistPuncher and Footkicker arrive to defend The Destructress. Meanwhile, Hiromi contacts Gretel through Kevin's earpiece, informing her that "all of the people [she] cares about are counting on [her]." This gives Gretel enough strength to destroy the drill, returning Kevin, Fred, and Bailey to their proper human forms. Kevin then rescues Hamster and Gretel from Mordros' anti-hero defense system, after which his ship crashes into a nearby mountain. As Mordros prepares to annihilate Kevin and the heroes, Hiromi, Fred, and Bailey arrive with Mrs. Maybank, who is revealed to have had Mordros, a chinchilla himself originally named Nutmeg, in her captivity as a child before the rodent was sent into space as part of the Tri-State Space Agency's Project M.O.R.D.R.O.S., which sent him through a space rift that gave him super strength and human intelligence.
Remembering his love for Mrs. Maybank, Mordros decides that he will still destroy the Earth (though he plans to spare Maybank), having the heroes, Kevin, Hiromi, Fred, and Bailey sucked ino the same rift he was sent into decades ago. Wishing to protect her loved ones, Gretel creates a force field around herself and Mordros before engaging in a battle with him. On the verge of being sucked into the rift, Gretel makes use of a Super Punch to send herself and Mordros through. However, Kevin, Hiromi, Fred, Bailey, and Hamster pull Gretel to safety with the aid of Hiromi's Conspiracy Yarn, leading to Mordros' defeat. Gretel thanks everyone for helping her defeat Mordros, with Kevin welcoming Hiromi, FistPuncher, and The Destructress to the team. As the group drives away in the minivan, the aliens briefly consider telling them that there is yet another greater evil coming to Earth before ultimately deciding to allow them to have a happy ending.

Trivia[]
- This episode continues right after "Trading Faces".
- This is the fourth episode in the series to be a full episode instead of two segments, following "U.F. UH-OH!", "Exclamation Strikes Back", and "The New Adventures of Super Kevin".
- This is (for the moment) the fourth episode in the Phineas and Ferb franchise to be a series finale. The other three are the Phineas and Ferb episodes "Last Day of Summer" and "O.W.C.A. Files" (until that show's revival was announced) and the Milo Murphy's Law episode "Sphere and Loathing in Outer Space".
- Due to the implied greater evil, it's possible that Hamster and Gretel will appear in the revival of Phineas and Ferb.
- Carolina and David are absent in this episode.
