William James "Willem" Dafoe is an American film and voice actor, known for his distinctive raspy voice and playing oddball characters. He is best known for portraying Norman Osborn/Green Goblin in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy. He reprised this role in the 2021 Marvel film Spider-Man: No Way Home. He also appeared in other films, such as Shadow of the Vampire, Once Upon a Time in Mexico, and Wes Anderson's The Grand Budapest Hotel. Additionally, he voiced the Rat in the 2009 stop-motion film adaptation of Fantastic Mr. Fox.
For Disney, he voiced Gill in the 2003 Disney•Pixar film Finding Nemo, and its 2016 sequel Finding Dory. He also voiced Tars Tarkas in the 2012 sci-fi film John Carter, Cob in the English dub of Studio Ghibli's Tales from Earthsea. Additionally, he played Leonhard Seppala in Togo and Dr. Godwin "God" Baxter in Poor Things.
