Winged Encounters - The Kingdom Takes Flight is an attraction located at the Discovery Island section at the Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park at the Walt Disney World Resort. It originally opened at the Discovery Island area across the Flame Tree BBQ area in 2014 and later moved to the Tree of Life area in 2015.

Winged Encounters is an animal experience located at the Discovery Island area, presented in the style of a bird show with exotic birds (mostly macaws) introduced to guests. Throughout the show, bird experts who know about macaws provide education to guests about unique information about macaws and why people should learn to protect threatened species of parrots from the natural threats they face in the wild (such as habitat loss and illegal wildlife trade, which cause macaw populations to decline). Often throughout the show, a large flock of macaws would fly across Disney's Animal Kingdom above the guests and land at the area where the avian experts and the other macaws are at, giving guests the opportunity to take a picture of the macaws throughout the unique experience. After a while, the rest of the macaws then take flight and leave the area just as an announcer (with pre-recorded dialogues) provides information to guests so that they can make a difference to experience unique animal encounters like the macaws seen during the show by helping protect their natural habitats in the wild.
