Witch Hook

"Witch Hook" is the second segment of the eighty-first episode of Jake and the Never Land Pirates. It premiered on October 10, 2014 alongside "Jake the Wolf", and is the second segment of the twentieth episode in the third season.

Plot[]

Captain Hook, Mr. Smee, Sharky, and Bones are on their way back to the Jolly Roger when a magical chest bumps into Bones. Although Mr. Smee warns Captain Hook that the chest has the mark of the Sea Witch, Captain Hook opens it and finds a mirror, which springs to life and states that he tells the truth. Captain Hook tells him who the bravest pirate in Neverland is, and the Magic Mirror states that Jake is. Captain Hook wonders if there is a way to prove that he is the bravest. The Magic Mirror tells Captain Hook that he has to do what he says. Captain Hook does so, and gets turned into a witch, to the shock of everyone else.

He also has great magic power, according to the Magic Mirror. Captain Hook then uses it to turn a rock into a flower. With that, he can prove that he is the bravest in Never Land. He then turns a stick into a broom and flies on it with Mr. Smee, Sharky, and Bones following.

Meanwhile on Shipwreck Beach, Cubby is playing hide-and-seek with Jake when Captain Hook calls for help. When Jake arrives, Captain Hook casts a scaredy-pirate spell on him and scares him away to Izzy and Cubby. Mr. Smee and Bones explain everything to them. As Captain Hook leaves to gloat about it, Izzy suggests that Jake goes to Misty the Wonderful Witch's cottage to find a cure.

Once there, Misty tries to cure Jake to no avail, as the spell is very powerful. The only way for Jake to be cured is if he takes a dip in Washaway Falls. Izzy thanks Misty for that, and Misty wishes Jake's crew luck. Jake soon gets scared by a frog, and Cubby saves him from the nearby cacti. Jake and his crew then continue to Washaway Falls. Captain Hook oversees this, and the Magic Mirror tells him that Cubby is braver than him. Captain Hook decides to get him out of his way so he'll be the bravest.

Jake and his crew soon come across hot lava rocks and as they cross the bridge, Jake is scared he might fall. Izzy and Cubby guide him through the bridge when Captain Hook arrives and makes the bridge jump up and down. Cubby is soon dangling from one of its ropes. With Jake too afraid to move, Izzy uses a vine for Cubby to make it to safety. They then guide Jake through the bridge safely.

When Captain Hook asks the Magic Mirror who the bravest one is, the Magic Mirror states that Izzy is. This angers Captain Hook, who vows to prove that he is the bravest one in Never Land. Meanwhile, Jake and his crew are almost at Washaway Falls when Captain Hook arrives, scaring them away. Captain Hook then teleports the Pixie Dust pouch out of Izzy's grasp and sends her, Skully, and Cubby sliding down the mountain in a cage. Although Jake is scared, he decides to use the Pixie Dust to save his crew. He then slides down the mountain with a leaf to catch up to the others and uses the Pixie Dust on the cage to save them. They then go to Washaway Falls, and Jake gets cured right after Captain Hook arrives. Jake then uses the water to turn him back to normal, also making the cage trapping Izzy, Cubby, and Skully disappear. Jake finds the Magic Mirror and decides to bring it to Misty, who knows how to keep it safe from sneaky snooks. Captain Hook states he didn't do anything sneaky and asks the Magic Mirror who the bravest one is, and it is revealed to be Jake. Captain Hook accepts it, but only for that one day.

Back on Pirate Island, Jake and his crew put the gold doubloons they collected into their Team Treasure Chest. Izzy and Skully then present Jake a sand sculpture in honor of him being brave, and Cubby scares him again. Meanwhile, Captain Hook states that he's not afraid of anything when Tick-Tock the Crocodile appears, scaring him and chasing him away.
