Woodrow Tracy "Woody" Harrelson is an American actor, voice actor, comedian, activist, director, and playwright, well known for his distinctive voice. He is a two-time Academy Award nominee and has won one Emmy Award out of seven nominations. He made his breakout role as as bartender Woody Boyd in he television sitcom Cheers for which he earned five Emmy Award nominations, and one Emmy win. He also played Marty Hart in the TV drama True Detective. Harrelson's notable film roles include basketball hustler Billy Hoyle in White Men Can't Jump, Roy Munson in Kingpin, Haymitch Abernathy in The Hunger Games film series, Tallahassee in Zombieland, serial killer Mickey Knox in Natural Born Killers, and magician/mentalist Merrit McKinney in Now You See Me. In addition, he voiced Jake the turkey in the 2013 Relitivity/Reel FX animated film Free Birds.

For Disney, he played Lou the Lamb in Mother Goose Rock 'n' Rhyme and Tobias Beckett in Solo. He also played Flynn in Welcome to Sarajevo, Vince Boudreau in Play It to the Bone, and Carson Wells in the 2007 Miramax drama No Country for Old Men. In addition, he appeared in Mickey's 60th Birthday as Woody Boyd.
