Mickey and Donald struggle to help Goofy get through a job interview.
Goofy is still sleeping in his bedroom, and Donald and Mickey are there. Then Mickey tries to shake Goofy and gets a clock to wake him up, and Donald squirts him with a hose to wake him up, but he's still sleeping. After that, Mickey has an idea to put on his clothes and shoes, but he puts blue marker on his eyelids. Donald then buttons the coat and they take him to his big job interview. The lady comes in and says "Mr. Goofy" and then she stands still. Mickey and Donald try to walk, but because Goofy is still sleeping, they switch to the coat because the coat is thicker. They visit the president for the interview, and Mickey tries to shake his hand, but he can't see because he is hidden in the coat (the gloves are stuck in his nose). The guy then says that Goofy needs to sit down, but he's so slippery that he falls off his chair. The guy asks Goofy about the job, but Mickey and Donald are confused about this job. Mickey then moves Goofy's ear to help him talk, but the guy thinks that is interesting, and Donald wants to try it. The guy tries to ask Goofy a question, but he starts snoring and thinks that question is boring. The guy starts to tell a joke, but Donald tickles Goofy, causing him to laugh. The guy lets Goofy write, so Donald holds his ears and Mickey holds his hand to write, but Goofy almost destroys the room, making Mickey and Donald upset, and he puts wallpaper on the guy's head. Instead of being angry, though, the guy seems happy about his room being destroyed, making Donald and Mickey happy. In an unsafe place, Mickey takes the coat off, and then Goofy wakes up and runs away in fear, causing Donald and Mickey to worry and they crashed the iron wall.
