In this time of happily-ever-after, peace and prosperity have returned to the kingdom of Arendelle, which is set in after the events of the film. Elsa has now embraced her magical ice powers, and she and Anna have created a Summer Snow Day for the merriment of the kingdom.
Inspired by Norway, the themed land features a town that allows guests to discover the magical land of Arendelle. The scenery, architectural design, clothing and cuisine, are all infused with rich Norwegian elements, including "dragestil" (dragon style) architectural style, Balestrand's asymmetrical architecture, and rosemaling floral decorative paintings.
The World of Frozen is not just a visual feast, but a musical journey as well, as guests will be thrilled to know that the movies' iconic soundtracks can be enjoyed throughout the land. Rearranged by award-winning composer Andrew Cottee alongside the team, the film's beloved melodies playing in different locations will surely tug at your heartstrings.
Disney Imagineers spent over three years in concept and design, working in partnership with artists and storytellers from Walt Disney Animation Studios, to accurately depict cinematic features in World of Frozen. The team analyzed ice textures, colors, and how these relate to Elsa's emotions to recreate her Ice Magic.
