The Worldwide Engineering Brigade or W.E.B. is a fictional organization from the attraction Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure.
History[]
Background[]
The Worldwide Engineering Brigade is an institute of youth and young-adult engineers which was established by Tony Stark in the 2010s. Following HYDRA's attack on Hong Kong's Stark Expo, Stark established WEB as one of his measures to create new heroes and keep the world safer. WEB would be given an outpost in Avengers Campus within he city of Orange, California within a building previously used by Howard Stark to create flying-cars. The facility was aided by an artificial-intelligence.
Here, members of WEB could experiment with their own skills and technology provided by Stark Industries, Wakanda, and PYM Tech. Member Cassie Lang in-particular would develop tech for the super-heroes Ant-Man and the Wasp. Members Peter Parker, Harley Keener, Doreen Green, Onome, and Lunella Lafayette would work to develop, "WEB-Slinger" vehicles for a WEB open-house. These vehicles were created from the salvaged Stark Industries Iron Wings used when Arnim Zola attacked Hong Kong.
Peter Parker also developed self-replicating Spider-Bots to show off at the open-house. These robots began to replicate out of control and quickly posed a threat to the campus. Because of this, Peter assumed his super-hero identity, "Spider-Man" and assembled guests of the open-house to board WEB-Slingers to stop the robots. The party used Howard Stark's utilidoors to pass through PYM labs, the Tivan collection, and the Quinjet's hangar to stop this attack.
