Captain Marvel[]
In the 1990's, Yon-Rogg finds Carol Danvers after a plane crash and has been sent to retrieve the energy core of the Light-Speed Engine created by Mar-Vell after the latter betrayed her race. Von offers to help Carol, before she comes in contact with the space stone, which eventually gives her powers. Yon-Rogg acts as an ally to Carol and wipes her memories so she will work for him and the Kree. He gives her the name Vers as she now has no idea who she is. Over the next few months, Rogg trains Vers to learn how to fight so she can battle the enemy of the Kree: the Skrulls. Vers continues to work for Rogg and his boss Ronan the Accuser and asks for help from his leader after learning Vers has been experimented on by the Skrulls and witnesses her new cosmic powers. After Vers learns that the Skrulls are the good guys and that her real name is Carol Danvers, she fights Yon-Rogg, angry that he is the reason her memories were wiped. Rogg is quickly defeated by Danvers and she sends him back to Hala from Earth, where he is imprisoned.

Vo-Rogg later attemps to kill Nebula, but is unsuccessful and eventually killed by Krog.
