"You Can Count On Me" is a cut song from Aladdin. The music and lyrics were both by Alan Menken. It is also known for being the first Disney song written after lyricist Howard Ashman passed away. This was also before they hired Tim Rice to complete the songs for the movie. An additional unreleased demo of this song was performed by session singer, Derek J. Young.
