You and the Living Machine is a "You and Your..." short that originally aired on The Mickey Mouse Club. It was updated in the early 1990s.
Synopsis[]
Jiminy Cricket shows how the "human machine" converts food into energy. He compares the human digestive system to a factory production line while explaining the importance of healthy food and exercise. He tells the story of a young boy who wants to stay healthy so that he can play and do all the fun things of life.

- The animation of the beating heart in this short was later featured in the opening of the Disney music video version of Huey Lewis' "The Heart of Rock 'n' Roll", which was shown on both DTV and the primetime special Disney's DTV Valentine (later renamed Disney's DTV Romancin').
