Yzma's Secret Lab is a location in the The Emperor's New Groove franchise. It serves as the primary headquarters for Yzma, and is hidden underneath Kuzco's Palace, though several entrances are hidden throughout Kuzco's kingdom. Although it's supposed to be a secret lab, nearly all the major characters in the franchise know about it.
Description[]
As said above, the laboratory is hidden underneath Kuzco's palace and has many hidden entrances. The most notable entrance however, is a large door with two levers. One lever opens a trapdoor leading to a crocodile pit (which both Yzma and Kuzco fell into during the film), and the other opens the entrance. Once the correct lever is pulled, the door spins open and the visitor is seated in a vehicle which they ride into the lab, via roller coaster.
Inside are Yzma's variety of evil potions and machines. It is revealed that she actually lives in the lab in The Emperor's New School.

- In the TV series, the main entrance to the lab is in Principal Amzy (Yzma)'s office.
- There is a running gag in the show where something different would fall on top of Yzma whenever Kronk pulls the wrong lever, such as a stone statue of herself, an oversized vase, a big green fish with sharp teeth, etc.
- When Kronk and Yzma ride the roller coaster into the lab, they pass several animal-shaped gates, the first of which is a cat and the sound of a cat meowing is heard. Coincidentally, Yzma is turned into a cat by the end of this movie.
- In the TV series, Kronk asks Yzma why she decided to have a roller coaster as her means of getting the lab. Yzma admits it's just for fun.
- In the TV series, the roller coaster would have several seasonal overlays, as well as a drive-thru, pit stop, loop and later getting upgraded to a suspended coaster.
- While the usual method of getting to the lab is through the roller coaster, there are stairs available to use.
- When the coaster stops, riders are tossed off. When they hit the ground they are automatically wearing white lab coats and black gloves. While Kronk and Yzma are used to this, Kuzco and Pacha were confused, and instantly discarded the lab gear.
