Zappapedes are large centipede-like creatures that reside in Amphibia's most mountainous regions. They get their name from their ability to manipulate electrical voltage.
Physical Appearance[]
As their name suggests, Zappapedes resembes overgrown centipedes. They have a bright yellow coloration on their body as well as a pair of brown horns sticking out of their forehead. The pupils on their eyes are shaped like plus and minus signs.
Role in the series[]
Zappapedes only appear in the episode "Taking Charge" where Anne and the Plantar family plan on using their electrical powers to recharge Anne's phone. They eventually find them in the Misty Peaks and despite getting electrocuted by a herd of them, Anne and the Plantars are successful in recharging Anne's power to ten thousand percent.
In "Little Frogtown," Anne gets zapped by a security guard using a Zappapede-like gun after she unintentionally scared a group of kids when they rudely cut her, Sprig, and Polly's places in the waiting line for Newtopia's arcade.
Trivia[]
- The Zapapedes seem to have electric immunity, as they appear to be unaffected by the electrical charges created by the other Zapapedes beside them.
