Gene Zebraxton and Gene Zebrowski, also known as the Zebros, are major antagonists who appear in the 2025 Disney animated feature film Zootopia 2.
Background[]
Physical appearances[]
The Zebros are two anthropomorphic ungulates, hence their zebra-derived name. However, they both have a distinguished appearance to identify which one is which. Zebraxton is a muscular zebra with brown eyes, short spiky mine, a black t-shirt, blue jeans, and a blue vest while Zebrowski is a horse who disguises himself as a zebra by putting white paint all over him, as well as dyeing his mane black as well as wearing a red t-shirt with a varsity jacket and blue jeans around his body.
Role in the Film[]
The Zebros are pair of new Zootopia Police Officers who joined the Zootopia Police Department, they attended the gala hosted by Milton Lynxley who was set to have his grandfather: Ebenezer Lynxley's journal on display. Then, when Gary De'Snake crash the party and while they getting everyone out, the Zebros shoved one of Gazelle's backup dancers. They then took part on the hunt for Judy Hopps, Gary, and Nick Wilde when the two were framed by the Lynxley family. During the chase in the Burning Mammal Festival, they bump into Gazelle and her backup dancers in one of the tents and the two brothers got beat up by them.

- Both of the Zebros' names are a corruption of the English word "zebra".
- The Zebros' respective voice actors, Roman Reigns and CM Punk, are real-life WWE wrestlers.
- In the German dub, they are voiced by Gerrit Schmidt-Foß and Dennis Schmidt-Foß, who are brothers in real life.
- In the Italian dub, they are voiced by Alessandro Del Piero and Claudio Marchisio, both former Juventus players
- They may have Polish roots judging by their surname.
- Both are revealed to be named "Gene" (or "Jean," the spelling is currently unknown).
- According to Ami Thompson, the Zebros' outfits were inspired by outfits used in action movies from the 1990s and early 2000s.[1]
- Zebrowski, when one looks closely, is actually a horse disguised as a zebra. There are traces of brown fur and his stripes are thinner and look drawn in, compared to Zebraxton.
