Spider-Man (real name Peter Benjamin Parker) is a Marvel Comics character who appears in the MCU animated series' What If...? and Marvel Zombies. He is an alternate reality version of Spider-Man from earth-616, voiced by Hudson Thames.
Spider-Man was created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko.
Background[]
In 2015, Peter Parker was bitten by a radioactive spider, which gave him spider-like abilities. Not long after this, Peter lost his uncle Ben. By the time of 2018, a zombie outbreak occurred in New York City, when Hank Pym visited the quantum realm to save his wife Janet. Peter survived while his aunt, who was the only family member Peter had left, became infected and died.

What If...?[]
Spider-Man/Peter Parker appears in episode 5 "What If... Zombies!?", voiced by Hudson Thames. In alternate 2018, the world is overtaken by a zombie apocalypse. Peter saves Bruce Banner after he is almost attacked by a zombie version of Iron Man. Before he met Bruce, he made a video which explains how to cope in a zombie apocalypse and how to prevent people being turned into zombies. Peter helps Bruce, Bucky Barnes, Sharon Carter, Hope Van Dyne, and T'Challa save the world from a zombie plague outbreak. Peter is very sad when he finds out Happy Hogan has been turned into a zombie, and that Hope was infected. When Hope asks how he manages to remain so optimistic, Peter says that he is sad that he lost him after losing Aunt May, Tony Stark and his Uncle Ben, but he has to be hopeful and keep smiling because they would want him to keep moving on. After Vision sacrificed himself and allowed them to have the Mind Stone, which can cure the infected, Spider-Man escapes Camp Leigh with T'Challa and Scott Lang.
Marvel Zombies[]
Peter Parker will return in this series, as a sequel to the What If...? episode, "What If... Zombies!?", with Thames voicing the character.
Trivia[]
- His voice actor, Hudson Thames, voices his counterpart from Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.
- This is the first variant of Spider-Man to mention Uncle Ben in the MCU and have his aunt die in MCU media. The live action incarnation of Aunt May died a few months after "What If... Zombies!?" aired, in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
