Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires is an upcoming Disney Channel Original Movie, which is a sequel to the 2022 film Zombies 3 and the fourth installment of the Zombies franchise. It is set to premiere on July 10, 2025 on Disney Channel and July 11 on Disney+.

Synopsis

In the first three ZOMBIES movies, Zed and Addison brought human and monsterkind together in their hometown of Seabrook. Now, a new adventure dawns for the duo when their summer road trip takes an unexpected detour, landing them in the middle of yet another monster rivalry: Daywalkers vs. Vampires. Tensions flare when Zed and Addison find themselves acting as camp counselors between the two opposing supernatural factions. With the help of Eliza and Willa, they must convince sworn enemies Nova and Victor to try to unite their warring worlds before an even greater threat endangers them all.

Production

The film was confirmed on November 23, 2023 through a Production Weekly article, before being greenlit by Disney officially on February 10, 2024.

Filming

Filming began on March 25, 2024 in Auckland, New Zealand and ended on May 16, 2024, with Milo Manheim and Meg Donnelly reprising their roles.

Post-production ended on April 10, 2025.

Trivia

• This is the fourth Disney Channel Original Movie to be a fourth installment to an existing franchise after Return to Halloweentown, Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure, and Descendants: The Rise of Red.
• The movie takes place after the events of Zombies: The Re-Animated Series.
• Casting for the fourth installment begun in late November 2023 for roles such as Victor, Vargas, Vera, etc.
• According to Chandler Kinney, filming was supposed to begin in Spring 2023, then got pushed to Summer 2023, until the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes happened. Ultimately, filming began in Spring 2024.
• The "Disney Channel Original Movie" branding returns with this film, as Zombies 3 was the first DCOM to premiere under the "Disney Original Movie" branding.
  • This is the first movie to premiere under the "Disney Channel Original Movie" branding since Under Wraps 2 in 2022.
    • Coincidentally, Malachi Barton also starred in that movie.
• The soundtrack will be released on July 10, 2025 to coincide with the films release.
