Zootopia Junior Novelization is a junior novel book of Zootopia.
Description[]
The modern mammal metropolis of Zootopia is a city like no other. Comprised of habitat neighborhoods like ritzy Sahara Square and frigid Tundratown, it’s a melting pot where no matter what you are, from the biggest elephant to the smallest shrew, you can be anything. But when optimistic Officer Judy Hopps arrives, she discovers that being the first bunny on a police force of big, tough animals isn’t so easy. Determined to prove herself, she jumps at the opportunity to crack a case, even if it means partnering with a fast-talking, scam-artist fox, Nick Wilde, to solve the mystery. This junior novelization features eight pages of full color inserts from Disney Zootopia, in theaters on March 4, 2016!
Differences from the film[]
- Travis is described as a wolf instead of a ferret.
- The scene with Renato Manchas has several differences: e.g. Nick snoops through Manchas's mail box when he and Judy arrive at the jaguar's home, something he doesn't do in the film, which was seen in a deleted scene. Also Judy is the one who convinces Manchas to let them into his home instead of Nick. Another noticeable is that they hear Manchas make a "strange grunting sound" from behind the door after he unlocks it and then a "loud thud", whereas in the film, Manchas is heard collapsing first and then screaming.
- The big Sheep Thug is absent from the climax at the Natural History Museum.
